  • Since the emissions in the lifecycle of a wind turbine are from the energy used, the time period lasted would also be when it breaks even on CO2 emissions.

As for destroying energy, that's just the efficiency, the other 60% is wasted as heat.

  • I'm for getting rid of coal and gas entirely, the grid doesn't need to be that diverse.

  • Can't deny facts, only hide from them and live in fantasy world.

Btw, I do agree nuclear is great. But we need as much of both as we can get.

  • This one was a juvenile though, 12" long.

  • That's why they can't afford it, not enough left over for them!

  • Then I guess it's stock dividends?

  • Have you broken a pencil tip? I wouldn't want to breath that in after it goes flying.

  • What do you mean? Graphite can be fine or sharp, you saying it's fine to breathe in? I know I wouldn't want to breath in a broken tip of a pencil.

  • Plus, inhaling graphite dust since it doesn't fall doesn't sound fun.

  • I didn't see how it was relevant.

  • The one in the post looks like it's polyester and foam. Why would plant based materials be better? I would think ideally you'd make the plastics out of ethanal and algie, but with how much processing goes into it, I'd hardly call that organic.

  • But they aren't, vegan shoes would be made of polyester/nylon/other plastics.

  • In this case, wouldn't vegan be the opposite of organic?

  • Yeah, the 10k per person would be about half a billion dollars one time. So it makes no sense to get less than that only one time.

  • The scary thing is we have no clue. But they do seem to be racist in their targeting, so if you look white, I'd imagine you'd have a much lower risk.
