  • Reddit had (has 😝) several fashion subs. Male Fashion was popular for all genders (they grew beyond their name). r/Streetwear (of which I was a former mod 🥲) had 4.6 million subscribers. There were several other subs, some general, some niche.

    I don't buy into that whole Color Me Beautiful stuff. You should wear what you like and not feel constrained because of your skin's undertones or whatnot smh.

    Appreciate the well wishes! Hope your communities flourish as well!

  • I consistently posted to !streetwear@lemmy.world with the goal of getting to 1,000 subscribers in the hopes that a large subscriber base would encourage people to show off their outfits.

    But I'm not holding my breath since there just aren't enough people into fashion on Lemmy. Now that I've reached my goal (yay) I'm moving on to other things 🫡
