  • Yeah, it is extremely difficult to troubleshoot the notifications on android since the settings are so convoluted. One never knows exactly where the problem is. I hope linux phones becomes a viable alternative soon because enshitification is rapidly making mobile devices unworkable.

  • Have been mostly great for me, I use the calendar, files, and gallery apps on multiple devices pretty much daily. The difference between fossify and the ugly bloated bullshit google is pushing nowadays is stark. The only problem I have had was with calendar not sending notifications properly but I suspect that was android derping and not a problem with the app itself.

  • Just a headless raspberry pi 4 with an external hdd that hosts a nextcloud instance, a website and jellyfin. Cloudflare tunnel because a static ip is too expensive and cloudflare for the domain, apache for the server. I have no background on anything computer related and am thus very proud of my achievement 😛. Also, no backup solution yet since I had no time to set it up but am working on it right now.

    The title says it all, it passes through most of the important philosophers of the western tradition. It is perfect to understand what (academic) philosophy is all about. Took me four months to finish but it was definitely worth it.
