  • For everyone who doesn't get it: Ben Affleck (left) got a divorce from his wife. Pete Davidson (right) is kind of infamous for "stealing" girlfriends/wives. So the meme is that Pete stole Ben.

  • Did Disney see Cyberpunk and think that corporate dystopia is the right fit for their business?

    While they didn't actively decide, it is their end goal. It's just the natural outcome of capitalism, where an infinite increase of profits and getting a monopoly is the desired state for every corporation. It's the intended function of our system.

    In order to protect us and our planet we need to abolish capitalism in all its forms.

  • Tbh I went through a lot of Pixels that broke on some way:

    • 3a: fell on the floor, screen dead
    • 4XL Battery bloated and blew out the back glass
    • 5 fell on the floor, screen dead
    • 5 (replacement) usb port stopped working

    The Pixel 6 is the first one that held up long term, but my next phone will probably be a fairphone

  • Nicht ganz richtig. Die Bahnhöfe werfen auch nicht wirklich Geld ab. Die Unternehmen besitzen aber meist die Grundstücke um den Bahnhof herum, die aufgrund des Bahnhofs extrem Wertvoll sind. Diese entwickeln sie dann auf sinnvolle weise (z.B. durch direkt angrenzende Ladenflächen, Büros und Wohngebäude anstatt Parkhäusern) und erwirtschaften dadurch Gewinn.

    Das ist in Deutschland schwer umzusetzen..
