  • I have the OG Vive that I can't get working in Linux (never installed Windows on my new computer so I'm honestly not sure if it's a hardware issue). It detects the controller and headset positions, but won't send video to the headset, everything else works.

    I want to buy an Index, but Valve has been out of stock for a long time now. I searched the web and found a rumor that Valve is releasing new VR hardware in Q4 2025 in time for the holidays. I hope this is true and I can get something even better than the index :)

  • I saw this one on Audit The Audit and I'm sad I can't find the video to link. The Indian man was totally nice, compliant, and even allowed the cops to search the car. The cops didn't test the "Opium" bottle at all. The whole thing was a giant sham.

    For the others looking for a gamepad, I'm blown away by how good this is. I bought a cheap logitech gamepad because I didn't want to give Microsoft money even though the logitech one doesn't even have a vibrating motor. My hands would hurt after using this thing. The 8bitdo feels great, the joysticks are accurate and sensitive, the rumble and wireless is great, the triggers require less force to squeeze. There's a feature where you can set buttons to repeat when held or constantly repeat on the fly. I've already been making good use of this. There's also 2 extra programmable shoulder buttons. Honestly the only thing I don't like about it is the light that's on when charging, but that's easily fixed.

  • I just bought a new gamepad, the first with a rumblepak/vibrator that I've ever owned. I didn't know how to test it so I found 2 websites that will just vibrate it however you want. Then I found that this old remastered boomer shooter has rumble even when playing with keyboard and mouse! Let it sit on my belly while playing lol
