  • Say a negative thing about Brave or any of alt right hate campaigns against anyone who likes diversity. They will keep down voting whatever you post/comment and insane things happen. E.g. 2 comments supporting the same idea in the same post scoring +20 and -20. The best thing to do against is not to be there at the first place. People who think they are highly technical, nerd, bright or have elite taste shouldn't work for Spez, for free.

  • Larger market manipulators have every mean to buy the shares, bank accounts at USA etc. I guess they are targeting them to help IPO.

  • It looks like everyone big in crypto scam and market manipulation have such qualities. Most of them are alt right and Musk fans so it is easy to spot them.

  • I am not American tax payer but what does American government and independent organisations do regarding influencers are being bribed to help a high profile IPO?

E.g. a user will have 200K+ karma and thousands of followers and will get pre IPO share. So, will "duckyduck" will sure sit on a corner and will never try to benefit his stock? They won't post to wall street bets? Because of ethics?

  • I hate to give car example however do you see "legs" on cars/bicycles? Just imagine a running car.

I would say they secretly want to replace infantry however nationalist humans are cheaper to produce.

  • What they do on several Reddit subs is market manipulation. I really wonder what keeps FED/FTC away from seeing this fact. They are allowing a service serving to market manipulation by criminals to have a IPO. So let's say your post to wall Street bets is clearly illegal but it serves to Reddit. Will they hurry removing it or even removing the sub? The crypto gangs there are even worse, don't mess with them. These guys are very well connected in real life, you know guns etc.

  • Once more we will ignore the elephant in the room which is owned by a advertising giant. Android. Their OEM agreement was designed so bad that it makes you wonder if it does serve a purpose? I can theoretically easily compile the wpa_supplicant on the phone itself however I won't be able to install/run it. Manufacturer even gave up the brand name itself. Billions of walking zombie devices as the result.

  • It will become a subscription business with EULA.

It should really replace this petrol powered junk but this is what ultimately happens with such suits in charge. Do you think people will choose better? How many Fairphones or Linux desktops have you seen in real life? They choose slavery.

Speaking of slavery, China does make better cars with great price. I just wonder how many gigabyte per month these cars send to China? So it's either future Mercedes car with Apple carOS coming with subscription or Chinese spycar. Make your choice.

Or choose community/cycle transport, something better fit to 2024.

  • With their religious fanatic/fascist leader soon becoming de facto dear leader? There can't be a progress without secularism. None.

  • IMHO the staff is corrupt. Why? I have seen crooks with verified and unverified accounts advertised scam schemes involving several multi billion companies in Turkey for weeks.

It included AI generated famous people advertising stocks, fake video ads, blatant logo piracy. These things can be detected with personal computer AI let alone Facebook's gigantic system.

Every single report binned, bounced. I know the multi billion/trillion system, whatever feedback sent to a brand will also reach continent and main HQs no matter what. For example, send feedback about a Starbucks Ankara, it will find its way to Seattle too. So, it seems there is a well established gang inside company who made millions or even tens of millions.

Just like CP, this is a very risky job. A multi billion energy company isn't a force to mess with, they have endless amounts of cash, lawyers and at the last resort "guys" who they can call.

  • I keep saying that commercial, money making clients should donate 10% of their profit (or living money) to the server their user chooses. This is how FOSS services will survive.

  • You either have to learn very advanced, current security stuff and completely understand the logic of Linux security or pay significant sum to a person who knows to do criminal things on any Linux or protect your private life. Windows? Multiply time& money by 10X. Unless you are Fortune 500 or a government you aren't getting the source anyway.

I am telling it to people who will install any ISO blindly paying significant amounts of cash to VPN services with their own credit cards and access their Gmail :-)

  • I really don't care about people who behave like they are living in North Korea or who wants a North Korean World to live in.

Even Digg people could say "No, F you" to Digg superstar owners. It is just a damn URL to type.

  • I wished they had evil lawyers looking after such stuff and sold strictly opt in data to AI corps. Free for FOSS though.

  • Spez like people are even capable of leeching archive.org and still sell the data which was archived for good intentions.

  • Liberal market gives end users choice. If they don't choose, they get the consequences.

This is more like people choosing Trump like types and complaining. Alternative exists, choose it.

  • A lot, just like today's Mainframe and Super computers. They are calculating complex formulas and doing gigantic batch jobs, millisecond AI fraud detection etc. A regular computer or server will throttle a lot while they are designed to be loaded 100% of times. Dave Plummer of MS recently made a video of a 40TB RAM monster.

Did you ever look at how much today's top of the line gaming rigs consume? ;-)

  • If you ever talk with an insurance guy or system admin, you will understand why as/400 can't be replaced that easily and most of the time people were unhappy with generic stuff replacing it.

Once while the split of IBM was on table, Microsoft was only interested in AS400 line. They used to do a lot of critical things on them. Yes, even Microsoft.

One can emulate AS400 since the entire thing including hardware and OS is a virtual platform from the start. I am not into financial/insurance/travel so I didn't investigate if IBM offers a POWER or Xeon replacement. You won't be able to explain throwing away millions of lines working code to move to some current fashion framework/language. These people make their money from 1/1000s of cents.

  • Isn't aeorogel really expensive to begin with? I mean we have tech like Ytong and they are still using bricks in buildings. Why? Ytong seems expensive to uneducated who have no clue about TCO and engineering.
