  • You could always downgrade your brain again after you're done.

  • He probably should have thanked them more.

  • You still at least had the option to buy a house. But yeah I get it.

  • Games is the one example that actually makes sense though. The game code size hasn't really increased tremendously, but the uncompressed assets have only gotten more detailed and more numerous.

  • The biggest difference is that European countries have parliamentary democracies. This means that everyone has a party that, at least to some degree, fits their needs and wants. I’m sure that if Americans realistically had more than two choices, things would be different.

  • As ridiculous as it is with him, noone is a villain in their own story.

  • That is exactly why Chromebooks were (are?) so popular. You got a cheap laptop with an easy-to-use OS without having to do any install. And let's be real here, most people don't need anything more than a web browser.

  • Go for Bazzite. It's basically Steam OS but with extra stuff that makes it "just work", even on an Nvidia GPU.

Once Valve releases their official Steam OS, you can always switch to it.

  • My favorite quote for situations like this is. "You're never the enemy in your own story."

  • Agreed. I hope it doesn't become so popular that it turns to shit.

  • I mean, it's getting harder and harder each day to argue against him deliberately destroying the west.

  • But a forum post said it would fix my issue.

  • Not for him, though. It sucks that the kings of today - and Trump, at this point, can definitely be referred to as such - will probably not face any consequences for their actions. Throughout history, it has always taken a few generations for their empires to come crashing down.

  • It's way worse than that.

Even if you somehow magically have the same settings as everyone else, you're mouse movement will still be unique.

You can even render something on a canvas out of view and depending on your GPU, your graphics driver, etc the text will look different...

There is no real way to escape fingerprinting.

  • As a parent and a former uncle, I can tell you that it's not comparable in the slightest. One is just having fun with a kid, while the other fills you with a sense of purpose unlike anything else.

  • That's still half the US population though.

  • It's no wonder when every other comment on Reddit is an obvious bot. Either the bots here are less obvious or they're not here yet.

  • I mean, he wants to be a king. A king doesn't need his subordinates to have a voice.

  • True, if anything he somehow would have dragged everything out until he was bed-ridden at which point he would have gotten house arrest which is laughable considering the size of his mansions.
