  • Proxy is on the same machine though. I just use it for subdomains and rate limiting.

  • Yeah, I would think docker is broken, but that wouldn't explain the SSH, which is bare metal and doesn't go through nginx.

  • It has a network connection, I am able to get to the nginx error, the services themselves are down. What's really weird is everything is down, even SSH.

  • My sister is there, but I can't do much diagnosis. It is weird that SSH would go down with it though, so I thought someone might have an idea.

  • I know it's bad gateway. I just don't know what caused it, or why it happened when SSH went down. Thanks, though.

  • I highly doubt it on Apple, usually everything but the Macs are really locked down.

  • I think kde might be working on something like that, but Idk.

  • I used 11, but had tried linux when I used 10. I was never really trying to switch, more just distrohopping with windows in the mix, and eventually I just never went back.

  • Do we have a linux circle jerk community yet? If not, that might help.

  • This post seems lighthearted and not mean-spirited. I do wish they said "awesome" or "great" instead of "the best," but they're not trashing other distros and it is relevant so I don't see the problem.

  • Any distro you'd like. Use the office / outlook stuff in a browser. I believe kde has a way to use onedrive in dolphin, though personally I would keep my data on my computer unless it is for a group project, just make sure it's backed up. I'd also have a VM handy with the spice guest tools. It is good to have at least for when you have to hand your computer to someone who may be uncomfortable with linux. I would use debian on a school computer for the ludicrous stability, but use whatever floats your boat.

  • You ever search any torrent tracker for anything not very specific? 80% of the results are porn.

  • I would recommend the logitech g305. It is wireless, but quite fast. It has a sensor that will do 12000dpi with a dpi button. It runs off aa batteries so you rarely have to change them. Low battery notifications even work. You can get it for around 40 bucks at best buy. (Not shilling best buy, the price on logitech's site is 60)

  • Who downvoted this?

  • I have no idea about the main question, though I too am interested in the answer. I do know the format for the shared partition doesn't matter. I would go ext4 because I like it's stability and don't need btrfs's features, but use whatever you want.

  • Not tumbleweed, right? I recall generally recall liking it until the kde 6 update broke everything if you tried to update from konsole in kde, and I remember others having the same issue. Not sure how they didn't catch that.

  • I am also interested in their argument.

  • I've tried to remove the banner with ubo on firefox and it has never worked. I think google is doing some weirdness with it.

  • I've seen that most commonly with tor, vpns could cause it to.

Edit: It is not (usually) them deliberately breaking vpns, they block brute force attacks based on public ip instead of a cookie or something.
