  • Regulations warentee expectations Nd certifications are a huge part of the cost of importing new cars.

Shipping is likely 1/2 as much as manufacturing when you consider the size and risk of loss. Then taxes and tarrifs. Trump may be insane but at this price range the UK has always had some tarrifs outside the EU.

Price comparisons between nations are pretty complex with all this included.

  • As opposed to surviving with only a slight limp and blood from wounds that stopped bleeding almost immediately

Honestly yes. But if you are correct you will know pretty soon.

And that is why it is so unlikely. Anyone who has any flying experience will know. If you miss an international flight it is very much recorded. This has been the case since lockerbee sp? And more stringent since 911.

Crash investigators will know within hours exactly who did or did not board the flight. And will announce it in a few days once they have made reasonable attempts to contact the families. So if he is faking. The newspapers will know soon.

Adding that to he had family on the flight. And is not seriously injured. Most of the blood on his cloths can come from rubbing scratches. So yes fast healing to the point you cannot tell. Very possible within an hour or 2.

There are unconfirmed rummers saying he opened jumped from the loading door just before the aircraft hit.

Not only is this very possible. But given the closed doors are structural on such aircraft. And would have remained open during the crash. Will show up notably in the investigation. So again will likely be confirmed in days.

Delays will come because while this is an India investigation. The UK and maybe other nations will be keen to help with the investigation. So some negotiating and sharing of expertise will happen.

  • Tech support. Knowing you have available staff who understand how to fix issues. And will take responsibility

These are always the questions that sell commercial software over os to big corporations.

Anyone who has ever worked in a big corp recognises the arguments even if they disagree.

  • Also it’s deeply sexist

Ooi why. It is claimed both male and female would be required to serve.

  • To be clear. US firm took on 30m in debt. Plus a promise to borrow 30m more if certain goals are achieved.

    So it's technically 30 to 60m and £1

  • Microsoft will offer to build a big data warehouse there then.

For m$ it is very much about not having a big gov org successfully moved over. As then corps may consider it.

  • Having looked it up and answered my own questions.

Yeah they are actually building a portable star.

And while it is very much an experiment. It is based on a smaller successful fusion plant from 2022.

So honestly using your guess. 7.5b 2045 and failing. Is still pretty fucking amazing amount the UK learns about a new future technology. And well worth the risk for the expertise we would gain.

If it actually works the UK will be helping the world make more. And the odds are pretty high compar d to the UKs first fission plants.

  • Again.

Every few years we hear a nations gov say this. Them m$ makes a deal to good to be true. And it all resets.

It's basically become an accounting trick for national govs.

  • Ah did a little googling myself. No expert. But for anyone else wondering.

    Both is the answer

The first positive consistent fusion was achieved in 2022. So over COVID. I may have missed it due to hiding ;)

But yes this is experimental. But fully expected to be the first full scale power plant. So Def worth the UK gaining the experience and solving the issues.

It is not expected till 2040. So 2.5b is way less over 15 years then it seemed.

  • Have I missed some news. Last I heard no one had gotten a positive output from fusion for more the a few seconds.

Is that no longer the case. Or is this 2.5b for an experiment that may not work?

  • What’s some inhumane prisoner treatment when you

Had no legal jurisdiction or right to kidnap and imprison them in the first place.

  • Any job that would give you an advantage when applying for a new job

Nope. Only true if the new job offers benefit over the previous jobs.

Sorry to tell you this. But for many in modern society that is simply not the case. The growth in income or benefit at best covers the increase in cost of living.

With the huge increases in housing costs alone. Long term employment. Stable or steady replacement. Often fails to pay the increased dost of surviving as low income workers age.

For many low income families jobs last as long as the company success followed by random layoffs to support company shareholders. Followed by inflation only replacement work.

This is in no way a career just survival.

  • TIL everyone in Gaza is Hamas

Well Israel has been openly claiming it for years. So we'll done.

Just like questioning the acts of the Israel government. Is an attack on every Jewish person. Even if Jewish folks object.

  • Raising children requires hope for he future.

Of course the first post ww2 generation to see lower prospects then their parents. Will hesitate to bring children into that future.

  • If funded by private investment. Yep.

If funded as tax payer investment in important inferstructure. Nope

  • They will respond politically. And that is all.

The history means every nation in Europe is split to hell on this subject. So what ever action any specific gov takes. Will be the end of that gov. So no gov will have the courage to challenge with anything but diplomacy.

  • For private citizens yes.

If a nations official forces do it. It is an act of war.

  • Exactly. But if we are honest. Canada joining the EU with no land border even close. Would be such a huge change in how it needs to work Vs other members.

It is much more likely to negotiate an EEA like arangment. As customs etc would face huge complications with the US being their largest trading partner.

Just about everything would need to be up for debate for such a deal to be practical on Canada's part.

Just things like electrical trade would be questionable. Localisation meant almost all other members were using 220v like systems before unification. Food standards make EU / north American trade in many products complex. So either way any merge is going to be long and complex. So differences will be needed,

  • A guess.

But considering it is glycophate. Used as a weed killer and pest controller.

The only source would be cotton.

All non organic modern farms world wide use glycophate. Because plowing is considered bad for the climate. If farmers do not plow turning over the soil and releasing co2. Then the only way to prevent weeds is chemicals. Hence glycophate.

Given cotton is used mainly for clothing etc. I imagine it has lower requirements for such toxins compared to food production.

So my guess. It is believed to be all brands. The article states varicose brands were tested and all had high levels. But given the low numbers I doubt the press is confident enough to single out any of these brands.
