  • I always have my sdcards just be the grub disk and all the root and other partitions are on a USB drive that is on it (I moved mostly to clones that have eMMC but this is what my older pis use).

For this price if its not hall effect and we get drift (even tho I am sure they would give us better access to the sticks and we could map a custom dead zone to fix it) I would be upset.

  • It might be a USB interface. But you would have to figure out the pinout as I would assume they would make it not default, hell they might have just exposed the JTAG there and not fucked with a USB chip. But again you would need something that can figure that out (bus pirate or the like, but that is just more $$ then just getting a new one, or a different fan controller that works for you).

  • just start spinning up liveUSBs and trying distros out. I have my partner on Nobara and they seem to like it and it rolls in fast game fixes, and from what I was told if you sail the 7 seas you can still install them just fine with lutris and latest gloriouseggroll proton.

  • I mean you could, but kubernet/containers really help it not be needed, as you can just run on any hardware and it doesnt have to be the same stuff on all the systems.
