Because they like them. I was more involved in consuming anime when I was younger and it was just based on characters you liked for whatever reason. Some people go to more extremes than others but that's the same for any hobby.
You literally refuse to understand the reasoning and will only see this at surface value. Things are approaching the level of fucked that can only be fixed with a come to Jesus moment (so to speak).
If you can't or won't understand what is actually at stake and how dire things are, just do nothing on the sidelines and see how long it is before your starts to seem a LOT smaller than you thought it was.
Honestly, I agree men's issues do need to be seriously discussed, but it's wrong to hijack discussion about women's issues to talk about men's issues. The reverse is also true.
Honestly there's no way that kid doesn't get made fun of at least some purely for their last name. Add the first name of blessica and that kid is going to resent the hell out of her parents growing up.
Honestly I wouldn't even mind some basic banner flashing, i.e. not neon fucking strobe and plastered over everything. I can understand them wanting to get a little bit of an eye catch. But not all of the ads can be like that and not with pop-ups and shit.
Oh yeah I get that as well. I've just been told the beard strengthens my jaw some which works very well. I have red/auburn hair and so is my beard which i think definitely helps it look better for me with the beard lol.
I have the opposite problem. I've had a beard the vast majority of my adult life (32M). Whenever I shave my wife will constantly pester me to grow it back since I look like 6 years younger. Add to that I start to actually notice how age has affected my face and end up growing it back very quickly lol.
Hearing this let's me realize how lucky I was in this regard. I got a PSP when I was young and either my parents didn't know it had an internet browser or they didn't know it was a fully fleshed out browser.
I'm in my early thirties and I used to feel this way. But in the last couple of years I've noticed I prefer calls more because it's so much easier to get things across to each other faster. As someone who travels a lot for work I also find it helps with feeling isolated/lonely as well.
