Stepping down is still more than most people are doing. I agree we need harsher penalties for this heinous shit, but it only seems individuals foreign to the States are doing ANYTHING in the wake of the files half-release.
I wonder if it's like book sales, where a publisher or other entity buys a ton of copies to make it a "Best-seller". Are the seats being filled, or are the tickets just bought out to make it appear more successful?
They're downgraded, yes. But to say they're trash is a bit harsh. I still have no idea how they got DOOM 2016 and Eternal on the original Switch, and still surprised that they got Cyberpunk on the Switch 2. The Switch is undoubtedly the worst way to play most of those multi-platform games, but it's also the cheapest to get started in. That does count for a lot in people's eyes.
Something to remember about situations like this where time is of the essence, don't just yell "Someone call 911/for help!" Actually DESIGNATE someone from the crowd to do so. The bystander effect assumes that someone else will do it. Don't let people think like that. While doing CPR, you're told to point specifically at someone to call for assistance. Same goes for something like this.
It's interesting. I hadn't heard a single peep from or about New York until Mamdani came into the picture. It's almost like he's getting special attention from both sides. One side trying to poke a many holes in his leadership and character as possible, and the other trying to point out how much better he's doing versus other established individuals. It's very interesting.
It's like releasing the Watergate tapes, but just running the ice machine in the background.
