  • Man I've so many times been required to say word for word what my character says in my charisma rolls, but because I suck at improv it's been bad. I've gotten nat 20s this way but my DM is like "well what you said is cringy so it wouldn't fly". Literally every DM I have ever had ignored the dice roll and only cared about the improv

  • The reason why we keep moving to the right is because people on the left are not voting. The right controls all three branches of government because of the way the country voted, why would the left move away from where they think the votes are being cast?

  • Probably the company making the drugs lol

  • Wow what, that's like too-on-the-nose clear lmao

  • Oooh you know what you just helped me realize idk what I'm talking about so thank you for that

  • No, only if they had been taken to court and found to not be infringing on copyright

  • My only experience with it was when a friend got durian gummies on a road trip. We figured it'd be the most palatable way to try the flavor.

Each gummy was individually wrapped, but as soon as we opened the big bag the smell was intense in the car and almost too much. We opened a single gummy and we all had to roll our windows down as the stench of toes and death was filling the car from the candy. We tried taking nibbles, but the flavor was identical to the smell and we all had to pull over and spit it out. We had to throw them all away.

And that was 90% sugar, I cannot imagine that fruit in its raw form.

  • I remember something about them coming out and saying they're a Christian band... Did I make that up? Was that a dream?

  • squints

    Jump
  • What makes it dangerous?

  • Bros literally asking for the cultural revolution to happen in America while he says everyone else is brainwashed but him lmao

  • Well they're right. Whatever they say, the right buys.

  • Where i live that makes a 10 minute drive 50 minutes 😭

  • I think we're talking past each other here-- everyone is saying it SHOULD be a rule and everyone they know does it anyway so it's "part of DND".

It's like stacking +4 cards in uno. Might not be in the rules, but everyone knows to do it.

  • I'm not speaking to how the designers intended, but at the end of the day if a 20 is a crit success on skill checks it is a jackpot mechanic. You could go months without getting one in game and when it happens it's absolutely like hitting the jackpot

  • If you make like five skill checks per game, yes it is rare and it's way more fun to treat it like a crit success. It's not a job, it's a weekend activity that is supposed to bring joy.

  • Someone was just telling me yesterday about how so many ROTC students get promised tuition paid for, only to find out later for some stupid reason they were disqualified. They made it seem like it's a very common thing.

  • This is what every Sunday grocery trip looks like in Montana

  • Not to mention anyone in a wheelchair can just get fucked walking around these minefields

  • I mean I haven't reviewed many papers myself, but I haven't gotten something that made me think it should have been desk rejected. I suppose that happens though
