I agree with all the things they are doing recently are making it way worse as a product, but I never really agreed on the whole "broken updates" thing. As someone who has used Windows forever and also an administrator at work, I can only recall 1 time where updates caused an issue when they were pushed through WSUS, and we quickly stopped the update. Personal use i have never had an issue.
If anything, I've experienced way more issues whenever updating a Mac. They break stuff all the time, especially when its a newer OS update.
I find it super weird that we continue to use platforms like WhatsApp for stuff like this. It's failed multiple times, and other systems exist that would prevent screw ups like adding random people to stuff. It should be a closed system, especially since it's the dam government! You would think they take security seriously.
It's crazy that it took 4 months to figure it out. What an awful way to die after knowing the place they went to be helped ended up being their death sentence, and there was nothing they could have done.
Wouldn't people just leave? I feel like that's such an easy thing to do these days. If they are too old, they probably weren't using Chrome anyway and default to edge since its just there. I know not everyone would, but I wonder what the percentage would be in the end. They have been killing it themselves lately with the removal of the blockers. I've been on Firefox for over a decade now. If Firefox did something like this, I would be gone in a day.
I never got into these at all. My coworker thought it was crazy that I never did. I just get a bigger monitor to fit all my stuff, lol. Right now, it's a 49" ultrawide and have no issues.
I did the same a few months ago just to try it. Im not sure if what I used was the problem or if there are better ones, but it was actually crazy at first where no matter what you say and build the scene you were able to do it which was pretty cool. But after about 15 min, the entire thing started to crumble where things were repeated a lot more, and then I somehow broke it where all it did was spit out gibberish, at which point I laughed and stopped.
So I wanna know, are these people who get that involved and attached using something better or are they that starved for affection and interaction that they are willing to settle for something that barely scrapes the surface of a true conversation.
Chicken pot pie is my favorite homemade dish! It's also the only one I make that people have gone wow about. I have been trying to bring it to friend events because everyone wants to try it, lol. I don't even do anything super special either. I use the basic Betty crocker recipe with store crust. The only thing that I think makes it unique is I normally take the chicken from a fully roasted chicken and if I don't have that ill fry up some chicken breasts coated in herbs then throw in a crock pot for 4 hours simmering in chicken stock. I'll throw my carrots in with it as well so they get really soft. I also only use Le Sueur young peas, which i think taste soooo much better than regular peas.
I feel the same way. I would love to see what happened. If it's good, I wonder how our time is perceived in history and if it even matters at all by that point. I probably would regret it if it's a hellscape, though. Not sure what I would do if civilization no longer exists.
I get that. I just feel like the last few years were even worse than those decades. If you can no longer get food at all due to this, I feel like that would be the point most people say let's wait on having a baby. I wish them the best, this entire situation is beyond evil.
This whole thing is messed up on a lot of levels... but I also wonder how the hell someone in such a messed up area for the past several years is getting pregnant right now. I get the world turns and everything, but it's not like anytime in the past year would have felt like a good time to have children anywhere near that area. I can only hope these were accidents, because idk how you could think of bringing a baby into that world right now.
Its been like 3 years since the last one for me and that was a .50 cent across the board one that was basically bullshit. Time before that was another 3 years and it was 3%... I did get 2 large raises in the past 10 years though, but those were basically given because we were already wayyyy behind the industry standard for our positions.
I honestly am not sure if I live in a bad area or not. During peak times, spring and fall, I will find several on me and the kids per year and a bunch more in the house, which were most likely dragged in by our dog. I feel like it's a lot more than some people, but it could be worse. I have never seen any that are that small, thankfully.
