This interference was caused by RF (Radio Frequency) interference from the phone using GSM technology to communicate with the nearest cellphone tower. It would have been heard by any speaker you were close to. They stopped using this tech after 2g. 3g onward, you no longer heard this anymore.
I just watched most of it and didn't even realize it was him. I haven't seen anything of his in a few years, but I always enjoyed most of the stuff he did.
Wait, they didn't already? I feel like a year ago, it magically went up to 1.25 everywhere by me, so I just assumed they actually raised it. Some good news is I have seen it in grocery stores on sale a lot for .66 a can which kind of works out to the same price as the jug so I will just get a bunch of cans instead.
I dont go into depth that much, but i do a lot of manual labor getting everything in place when I get new music. Maybe I never spent a good amount of time figuring it out, but preset id tags done automatically never worked out for me. I check them all and edit a few things on some, and then I run it through music Picard using someone's script to only update genre tags and give up to 5 per track. After that, I add them in. My biggest complaint about Spotify was that I didn't feel anything when it recommended me stuff, and it always felt off as to what I heard. Something about looking it up, finding what's new, and wanting to hear it is why I keep coming back. Spotify, I didn't learn anything about who came on unless I looked. Weirdly enough, I feel like I discovered way more myself than with the algorithm.
Yeah! I've been using it since the first month, and it has been released and has come a long way in only 2 years. Funny enough, I used to use his other app, Yatse, way back in like 2010 for a while, and I also have nothing but high praise for it as well. It was a remote control app for Kodi, and the things he added to it were impressive. Who knew you needed tons of features in a remote control app!
I love seeing this. As someone who has kept his own library of music since 2004 and went through the peak of local libraries to it almost being dead after like 2012, this is a day I never saw coming! When it started declining, home hosting solutions were already sparse, but then some more threw in the towel as well. Right now, I use Navidrome as my server and Symfonium for the app and has been an incredible 2 years using it. If people start coming back, I feel like it will only drive more creativity and new features as it will be worked on more than it is.
What happens if or when it breaks? Since it's rented, is that at the very least not on you? I would imagine any or all work on it shouldn't cost you anything since you're paying monthly for it? Not that I want that, but do you get anything for this rental fee?
I have no idea what that is, but I dont think I wanna know. I did want tankless on demand, but the service guy convinced me it's not worth it, and I regret my decision. Said I won't save much because the power draw is much higher than a water heater, so even though the heater is always keeping it warm, the on demand still takes more. I think I may have needed additional wiring for the electric and believe that's really the reason he swayed me away.
Hey, I just did these things! Water heater i was ripped off, which cost me $2600, and the roof i actually thought was a good deal at 17k. Not fun but the roof made me happy. The water heater actually destroyed my basement by leaking out...
My wife's parents were like that. Not so much the father, but the mother definitely knew how to manipulate things and at her worst it was disgusting what she called her or even me when we just started dating (over text and I saw it). She has 2 sisters, and it was very obvious she was the most neglected. I was furious but my tongue. She never learned to cope or accept that it was even a problem or not normal no matter what I said. So idk where I am going with this because the end result was they both died about 5 years ago a few months apart, so she never learned anything.
I will say both her sisters are way more awful, and thankfully, she has just started taking my advice finally and is distancing herself from them and not calling as much. I think she is finally tired of feeling awful after just talking on the phone. She has no friends, really, so she uses that as an excuse to keep talking to them and also because its the only family she has left. I told her that if my family treated me anywhere near what they do to you, you bet I would cut ties instantly. I feel bad because she just takes the abuse and somehow doesn't realize you dont have to feel bad or miserable all the time because of what someone does to you. The longer she distances herself, though, the more she seems to realize she is better off just for her mental state alone.
For the longest time I thought it said slut life. I laughed very hard when I found out the truth. I still call it that when I see one. And yeah, I hate them as well.
