I have a terrible memory, but for the money you're giving, I would invest a decent amount of time into reciting this over and over for hours and make it into a game the best I can. Considering the potential of this making all my financial issues go away, it seems like a very easy solution.
I was thinking the same thing. We got them in our IT dept like 10ish years ago and used them for conference rooms since they lasted a long time and we had issues with execs ripping people new ones because it wouldn't work during their precious meetings and somehow was our fault. Anyway, I had that thing up until 2 years ago. It was awesome!
If it's true to the original, I see no reason not to play the new one instead. As someone who played everything just by being able to grow up in the perfect time to experience it all, I can honestly say it's hard at my age to go back sometimes without the quality of life updates. I just don't have the time or care anymore to be able to, sadly.
It's been about 20 years since the last time I picked it up, so I hope to play this one someday soon as well.
The one thing I keep wondering is, has anyone asked him for the documentation that proves this? All I keep seeing is he makes a statement, and every news place mimicks what he says and then says nobody agrees with this. So where are the documents and trials and everything else needed to even come to this conclusion? It makes no sense how all these people just speak and never back any of it up, and nobody ever questions it or the few that do just get yelled at or not given an actual answer. It's the most frustrating thing about this past year, and I keep waiting for people to tell them no and just call bullshit.
"An issue with a routine firewall upgrade resulted in some callers from the Northern Territory, South Australia, Western Australia and New South Wales not being able to make emergency calls. Approximately 600 calls were identified to have failed during the outage, and at least four people who attempted to call Triple Zero during the outage have been confirmed to have died."
Wow, as someone who works in this exact role of upgrading firewalls i can tell you i have an incredible amount of anxiety when we need to do them because it is a high risk device that has caused issues in the past. Thankfully, our problems would never lead to the deaths of others, and I really can't imagine how anyone who had a hand in this upgrade feels after hearing that. Plus, with how much attention it has, someone, if not multiple people, are going to lose their jobs. Sadly, after it upgraded, it probably worked fine except for this one or a few policies that controlled this one specific route. So nobody would have been able to tell until complaints rolled in. I dont even work in a huge company, and ours have hundreds of individual policies, so they easily could have a thousand or thousands of policies on 1 firewall. I really wonder what vendor they use.
My wife's parents died 5 years ago, and she took a lot of stuff from the house. She even took the silverware and mixed it in with ours. I can't tell her, but I absolutely hate them and will avoid at all cost.
Instead of just making the comment I would love to see him lay out exactly why and how it would destroy them so we can laugh some more at how ridiculous this is.
Yeah, from the stuff posted, it sounds like he used it just like most people do. To have conversations with friends about life and games. But that won't stop them from continuing to talk about them like they were. It's all lies all the time.
As the other commenter said there are a lot of options. I used to be in charge of imaging and we just used SCCM to deploy. I had to pass on these roles as my responsibilities changed and the team that was getting it deemed it to complicated... go figure. They complained enough and found smart deploy and they accomplished getting it because of its ability to wipe pcs.
