  • I don't think elections will have an effect on internal US politics in the future. I think this train has passed. You have a xenophobic, militaristic, populist, antiparliamentarian, government. Historically, these tend to cling to power, no matter what.

    Yours is going starting a war in Latin America out of thin air. This, plus the silencing of internal dissent through a variety of means, will help keep them in power.
