Are there not? I’d be shocked if any country would advise their citizens to visit under any circumstances. ….unless they didn’t want them back, I suppose.
We typically don’t. Someone exercising open carry in public (especially in a non-rural town/city) are generally viewed as a cosplaytriot who has totally confused being a prepared badass with being a paranoid dickhead.
They may argue this, but that’s the general attitude.
Our “health care” in this country is a complete fucking scam. My insurance routinely denies any claim more complicated than a simple checkup, even though my policy clearly covers things like occasional X-rays and ordered blood draws.
“Oh, you got an X-ray, cool. But that’s just the X-ray, it’s an extra $400 for a radiologist to review it. You didn’t realize that? Thought shit! Even though there is no way to know that, you are still on the hook. Sucker!”
Every goddamned time it’s hours on the phone or computer appealing and threats of bills going to collection. It’s extortion, plain and simple. They appear to do everything they can to coax an unwarranted payment from the patient.
Did anyone really expect them to release documents that implicated republicans or their puppeteers? These assholes are blatantly corrupt. As long as they are the gatekeepers, nothing can be trusted.
Knowing someone close in my family whose young son committed suicide (and being a parent myself), I can tell you that it destroys your world. You will replay all of the times you could have prevented it for years to come. You will doubt every interaction you had with them, playing out scenarios that never happened trying to unwind what went wrong. It tortures you. Tears you down. The journey afterward is bitter and you react different toward those who haven’t endured such a loss.
Basically, from what I observed, if fucking sucks more than anything and nobody should have to endure that. It’s not worth it to do that to your loved ones.
