I'm at work so I can't do deep dive searching, and honestly I will probably forget about this by the time I get home, but there are other people I follow who report on this stuff, unfortunately only in podcast format, who have also talked to modders in person. All of them say mods are fine. Take that for what you will.
Miniminuteman archeology basically dedicates his channel to debunking this crazy shit. He has even brought in other archeologists if he finds out he got something wrong. It's a great channel.
I mean current version really doesn't mean anything because people aren't going to upgrade if the version they're using is fine. I submit that this is a perfect example of correlation != causation. I may have gotten the order wrong on the not equal symbology since I haven't used it in a while.

The biggest tells for me is the sharpness of the picture. AI pictures have an uncanny valley level of sharpness that doesn't match what actual humans would put in their art.
This is probably the only time I will agree with the "both sides" take on this. My view on this is that it doesn't mean I agree with killing innocents though. People at the top doing terrible things is no reason to condemn a whole people who very likely had little say in the matter.
I'm fine with this in theory, but in practice the homeless/unhoused don't care whether the property is private or not. I have witnessed them trying to set up tents in people's yards multiple times. Not even big yards, we are talking condo yards.
The main issue is that they communism is economic policy, NOT social policy. While they do go hand in hand people often conflate the two. Many dictatorships use communism as a way to control the people but that doesn't mean that communism leads directly to dictatorships.
