  • Or what?

    We’ve mostly disarmed ourselves.

  • If we armed everyone, maybe the fascists wouldn’t have been able to take over.

It’s not like either political party gives a shit about the real issue with guns, which is mental health.

Over 50% of all gun deaths in America each year are from suicide.

Take away every gun, all those people still want to die. For the stupid among you, that’s bad.

But caring about that doesn’t get you votes, I guess.

  • lol. My dad’s a retired engineer and my mom was a computer programmer. Literal actual baby boomers.

I work in IT. Gen-X. Which you forgot because you’re bad.

My daughter just got her degree in Cybersecurity. Millennial.

tl;dr: STFU with this stupid inter-generational tribalism, it’s wrong and stupid.

  • Loooooooooool good one. The tech giants would never stand for their chattel to be treated that way! They might have to hire Americans! It gonna happen, not anymore than they can help it.

  • And even if they put them back where they found them after they've snapped their pictures, he says moving them at all can disrupt an ecosystem's balance.

So he admits that what he’s doing is actually contributing further to the problem.

  • That orange tip means that’s a toy, right? That’s how toy guns are manufactured in order to cut down on police shooting people for running around with realistic looking toy guns.

  • A subscription that somehow still manages to use surge pricing? I’m assuming that’s the next logical step.

  • Good thing my computer isn’t in Germany. I will stop using web browsers before I disable ad blockers.

  • Yes let’s be like Microsoft and delete everything we can get away with no matter how shitty it makes things.

    Great job, really admirable.

  • This is the same company that is selling horsepower subscriptions. Fuck them. Don’t buy their products.

  • What a lazy and shitty comment.

  • Cry fucking harder. You people will bitch about anything.

  • Duh. Spacex isn’t your friend, nor is it benevolent. Not even if you’re a shitty maga fascist.

  • Fuck “lifetime subscriptions”. They’re taking a page from Tesla and I’m sure they’ll require any new owner to pay them separately should you sell the vehicle.

Simply avoid VW and any future brand that pulls this shit.

  • The only thing about me like this is that, in the last couple of years, people driving around with loud obnoxious cars pisses me off. I'd swear it didn't used to. Now, though, when the night outside my house sounds like a motherfucking speedway because some asshole a half-mile or further away is speeding in his shitbox at midnight or later, it does make me wish the cops would get him.

Then there's the assholes (there are at least two, one is a shitbox pickup the other a motorcycle) whose exhausts are so loud that when they drive past my house they set off a neighbor's car alarm. Mind you, the car alarm NEVER goes off otherwise. Until this bullshit started, I didn't even know they had a car alarm at all. The shit is just that fucking loud.

Back in my day (lol, it's true though) we had overpowered subwoofers and skinny kids were actually damaging their lungs with them. I'd still take that over this stupid "My car is loud as fuck but will never be as powerful or as fast as a fucking nazi tesla. Look at me! Look at meeeeee!" bullshit.

  • I just had the opportunity to purchase "AI" eyeglasses. They do recording, pictures, capture audio, supposedly let you talk to them, etc. IIRC the frames were by Ray Ban, they didn't look awful.

They were powered by Meta. That was an instant hard pass for me.

TBF I'd probably have skipped them anyway, but if they'd been some other company I'd have at least been intrigued and given them another look.
