  • They do exist, and can even be used detached on their own, but the short barrel makes them impractical for taking out commercial drones at a safe distance. What we've seen from the Russian Army is that long barreled semi auto hunting shotguns are best at the job, and in a pinch they even have 3d printed birdshot and buckshot they fire out of their AK-74s.

  • Equipping supporting infantry with armaments that let's them easily clay-pidgeon shoot shitty Amazon drones with grenades strapped to them? Nah give them heavy-ass shitty new 6.8mm rifles that have even less ammo in them so they can't even mag-dump in a vain attempt to save their asses.

    Issuing some cheap shotguns for every platoon means no SIG kickbacks for their overpriced worst of both worlds rifle. I don't think the US military even expects to fight a real war anymore, its just grifts on grifts to strip the copper out of the walls until there's nothing left and defense contractor shareholders can flee to their bunkers in NZ.

  • HQ-9Bs are supposedly being delivered. But I actually don't think J-10s are sufficient against Israel due to the lack of stealth. You can kind of make up for it by also buying AWACS planes and using the j-10s as networked missile trucks only, but they will have very little in the way of defensive countermeasures compared to a J-35. Also, unless Iran builds more (expensive) reinforced hangars their new planes will be hit by standoff weapons and made useless before they can take to the air.

  • I visited their brewery before and got the tour which includes a tasting of their unfiltered fresh draughts. Much better than the bottled stuff, though you might have better luck with canned ones since the bottles get skunky during transport, they're too lightly coloured to block sunlight and the beer just seems to skunk up quicker than others. Otherwise, its a fairly mediocre German style lager which makes sense since it was the German occupation that started it.

  • Given the shape and the description in the wiki link in the other comment, there are variants of it such as explosively formed penetrator, shaped charge, or fragmentation warheads. This one looked kind of like the EFP version given the cone shape, which isn't optimal for anti-personnel use but in a confined space like an APC would have killed everyone inside just by the blast alone.
