Personally excited for the new stealth UCAVs + 6th gen planes since we have no good pics of them until now, and the J-35 is all but confirmed in service with the PLANAF. Also the new hypersonic scramjet missile and the fancy light tank with like 8 APS launchers and loads of softkill systems too.
A mainstay will definitely be Dongfeng missiles to emphasize nuclear deterrence.
New logistics aircraft with upgraded domestic engines, a major weakness of the PLA that has only recently gotten remedied with breakthroughs in engine tech.
Honourable mention the Chinese B-52 in the sense that its been around for 70 years and will probably be around for another 50, the H-6 is an upgraded Tu-16 that they just won't give the sweet release of retirement.
In terms of stuff the PLA already has in service, basically everything will be there except boats since they have yet to build a giant canal across Beijing to parade the PLAN.
You're missing out on the Chinese reporter commenting on the environmental friendliness of the new ceremonial cannon cartridges, because of course they would.
Even if we ignore that Ukraine would be a smouldering ruin if they actually did this, surely they know the same factory likely produces and sells drone parts to a third party that ends up re-exported to Ukraine?
Posting rworldnews is cheating, they ban anyone who is even mildly supportive of Palestine, so all that's left are zionists and their state department handlers.
That's what I've heard too, likely a ucav meant to be used alongside a manned fighter, but again all speculation. Anything I've been able to find on it has been blurry phone pics so you've likely seen them already.
Nope, fully anecdotal and I doubt the pla would publish it. I actually first heard about this from an uncle who was an AA gunner in the PLA, but stumbled on it again on some niche defense forum years ago so someone must have spread it.
Well no one knew the actual top speed at the time, and the J-8 could hit Mach 2+ and if the F-22 needs to turn around it needs to bleed a lot of speed. The main point was if you can't hit them with semact R-27s cause of the stealth you can at least try to get close enough for IR missiles to work on the exhaust.
I don't want to speculate anything on the new sixth gen aircraft at this point which is why I included both as an example. Allegedly there's a third private design also being explored?
Why should China dive into helping Iran when the last time they were about to have really good relations the Iranian government threw it all away for the slightest concession from America? Iran is not run by principled socialists, they're a bunch of libs and theocrats who happen to be on the right side of history re: isntreal, China and Iran are right to improve relations now, but they're also right to be cautious and doing it in a measured way. Fool me twice, you can't get fooled again, as
By 2050 the USAF will be doing calculations on how many F-35s they would need to brute force a tail chase against a J-36 or J-50 like how the PLAAF in the late 90s/early 00s was deducing they would need 8 J-8s to take down 1 F-22 by having the first 7 make it exhaust its missiles and the last survivor using its higher top speed to hit it as it returns to rearm.
The US doesn't want to sell them anything but leftover scraps, hence the TOWs that fall directly into the ocean after launch, premature detonating patriots, M60s that barely run etc. What's the point of being a tributary state if you don't even get the benefits from your suzerain?
40k but its the People's Republic instead of Imperium and everyone is actually kinda chill and psykers get adderall.
