  • The worm eats well done steak with ketchup. Statistically he should have choked many times.

*I have zero data to back this claim, just an assumption that it would be more likely to choke on shoe leather

  • I live in an area where I think the worst drivers in the US live. I absolutely hate people who honk as soon as the light turns green. You don't know what I can see, you don't know if it is safe to go. Because sometimes it isn't. I've had to learn to still look both ways after the light turns green because almost once a week (and I only drive 2-4 days most weeks) I see someone completely blow the red going 60 in a 45.

I also blame phones for traffic, because it goes the other way too. Why did you miss that green, because 3 people in front of you were on their phones. I usually give a slow 5 count before giving a beep.

  • In some ways that is the answer. Crashes keep happening because they are not being held accountable to regulators because they are not reporting these incidents and no one is exercising oversight to be sure the reporting matches reality.

I think over the years, accurate reporting by manufacturers has been done because they generally do not want to be known as that car company that killed a child and it could have been prevented with a 50 cent bolt. As a result, regulators have been less hawkish. Of course there are probably political donations in the US to help keep the wheels turning.

  • I'd have an easier time agreeing with you if any one of them had shown even a bit of spine against this fascism.

  • Nearly half the population didn't vote at all. It's not a small number that would still defend him. Maybe not half, but significant enough. Then you have to wonder, how many active duty personnel didn't vote for him and where would they stand when the orders were given. Would they commit treason in the eyes of the CIC?

His approval ratings don't mean a whole lot. We've seen how well polls have translated to real results in the last decade. I would also argue that disapproval does not translate to civil disobedience.

  • 154 million people voted in 2024. That's a hair over 65% of the voting agreed population. Over half of those people supported this shit stain, and even if they disagree with him on some things now, most will still support and defend him.

My personal objections to participating in a armed resistance aside. No one is looking to organize an armed resistance as far as I'm aware and the concept of organizing such a resistance seems nearly impossible for many reasons.

I've seen a few reports of protesters making things more difficult for ICE, but that's about the most resistance I've seen. I'm starting to see why reasonable Germans didn't rise up, it's not that they agreed or didn't want to, it's difficult to organize a resistance. There needs to be a clear leader, good communication channels, a way to vet those who join, and anything else a military operation needs. And even then, you'd be going up against over half the population and the armed forces. And it would be giving a reason for them to use full military force against the citizens.

There is no good end to this, there is no way to stop this from continuing. I think a lot of people are counting on midterms to bring a peaceful end to this nightmare, I doubt we will have that chance and even if we do, the outcome will not be enough to swing the power.

    We're fucked.

  • The fear is manufactured by those with power. A race war is much better for them than a class war.

  • I disagree. The joke is meh without the names. If they did the same thing but with 2 made up people or cartoon characters it would fall flat. This format is disingenuous and doesn't hold up without making it seem like celebrities said it.

  • At least dicks can get hard. This fucker has as much spine as a bowl of spaghetti.

  • I've come to the realization, at least where I live, that a hell of a lot of accidents are prevented because of drivers who are actually aware and safe. This goes a bit beyond defensive driving IMO. I'm talking flat out accident avoidable. There is an entire class of drivers who are not even aware of the accidents they have almost caused because someone else managed to avoid their stupid driving.

The majority of accidents that are likely to happen with these robocoffins will be single car or robocoffin meets robocoffin. The numbers on safety after a year will be acceptable because non accident causing error prone driving is not reported in any official capacity.

I still maintain that the only safe way to have autonomous vehicles on the road is if they do not share the road with human drivers and have an open standard for communicating with other autonomous cars.

  • The 5 weeks pregnant vs 6 week ban is a bit more ambiguous than you might think.

The Florida 6 week ban calculates the 6 weeks from the first day of the last menstrual period, not from fetal size or date of conception. https://abortiondefensenetwork.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Florida-April-2025-2-1.pdf

In general, ovulation occurs 12-17 days into the menstrual cycle. Florida's ban is more like a 3 to 4 week ban than a 6 week.

Edit: spelled ban as can once

  • Should be a requirement for life. My SO always says everyone should be required to work retail for one week during the holidays. I have to agree.

  • Essential services like healthcare, accessible information, food safety, and all the other things that help our citizens stay safe and productive?

  • It irks me how much stuff we aren't allowed to send because the manufacturer won't allow it.

Name and shame. This is such bullshit. I'm sure it's some to protect brand value, but IMO you earn more value through kindness and generosity.

  • I need this on a shirt

  • Or maybe this op was withheld because they had already done that.

  • We need people who do not care if they piss off the wealthy. People willing to forcefully and lawfully remove money from politics. People willing to challenge their own party members and even party leaders.

Primary every federal office in every election until the comfy incumbent lives in fear.

  • I don't have an answer for you, but something to consider.

Plastic surgeons go to school for many years to perfect their trade. I suspect, like most medical professionals, something like scar reduction is a specialized area of study that is not all that common.

We know that professionals are able to reduce the appearance of scars. I'd bet good money that it is not something just anyone could do successfully.

  • Can we get other countries to deny these sycophants entry for being spineless?
