I agree, a foreign direct investment approach would be good. We want to keep automotive skills and North American auto brands need competition otherwise we'll never get affordable EVs.

Every US index is way up over the last 12 months. I don't understand the market's valuation of the few big players that are propping up the market but this recent correction isn't anomalous. Obviously I have money in the markets so I wrote this defensive comment because I'm actually worried 😬
