  • Imma pound you cat. Imma schmack you in yo teefs. You gon get starched with yo' evil ass.

  • What color is the hair in that photo?

  • I did not read the article. Nobody does anyway, right? So I figure I'd mention that Nepenthes is a pretty famous genus of carnivorous plant, they are the tropical vining pitcher plants. The more you know. Unless you didn't read this and weren't already aware.

  • A lot of people are saying that the US government banned TikTok, but from what I'm understanding, that's not really what happened and what's happening. Or have I misinterpreted things? From what I understand, they were told they had to divest and sell, but they fought that and now are opting to shutdown rather than comply. Is that not the case?

Either way, I'm gonna go all "I walked to school uphill both ways barefoot in a meter of snow" on this and say that my very little experience with TikTok users seems to suggest that its not much more than pure, unadulterated brain rot. So regardless of the fact(s) (i.e. shutdown / banned / etc), there's maybe the tiniest sliver of a net positive here. Or not. It doesn't affect me one way or the other and given where this country is politically (as well as where it is headed), I don't give a rat poopoo.

  • He looks like a Jessica, no offense to other Jessicas.

  • The body builder with claws and a skull for a face is the character, Skeletor from He-Man for those of you not aware. Or maybe you recognize him from She-Ra? Was Skeletor in She-Ra? I don't know I never watched that show.

  • Truth is, we cannot be certain Mark Zuckerberg fucked an ostrich. The only thing we can be certain of is that his mother very clearly fucked an ostrich and/or was herself an ostrich.

  • From the perspective of the photon, this all happens more or less instantaneously. Or so I have been told. I was also told that my tongue has 5 or 6 zones where different aspects of flavor are detected and I now know that to be wrong. So maybe fuck your ice cream.

  • I don't have a ton of anecdotal evidence to know for sure. There was one time I was riding with a friend who got pulled over for speeding while I was with her. She was Asian. She managed to talk herself out of a ticket in a town that is a notorious speed trap. Prior to that, the only time I'd ever seen or heard of someone not getting a ticket after being pulled over was the time my boyfriend got pulled in a Walgreen's parking lot because he did not turn his lights on before he started moving the car out of a parking spot at night. So, the friend talking herself out of the speeding ticket was kind of impressive at the time. Granted, I'm not sure if her race contributed to it or not. She was a pretty woman and even if it's cliche, I'm pretty sure it makes things a little easier some times.

Me on the other hand, I'm not Asian. I've gotten tickets before for various things. But I digress.

  • They don't make cats like they used to. Used to have a cat named Smokey. For some reason my uncle would call it Smokey Brown. The cat wasn't brown at all. It was solid gray except it had white tips on the ends of its paws, a tiny white chin patch, a white patch on its chest, and white tip of its tail. The inside of its ears was also white. Almost to the point that it might've been easier to call it an all white cat except it was grey in the middle, and on its head, and along its belly except for that white patch on its chest. Anyway, called that cat Chester at first after its chest patch but then we found out he was a she so we opted to alter the name and go with Smokey. Surprisingly Smokey didn't seem to have a problem understanding the name change, almost like she hated the name Chester and was eager for something new and exciting and which truly captured her spirit or if not that at least her appearance. Meow.

  • You see the real secret to a happy life are the blue bins we pass along the way.

  • The older I get the more I wish I was one of those people who are able to completely ignore what's going on around them and completely invent an alternative for themselves. Those are some of the happiest people I know.

  • This happened to me once in real life, sorta. I was several miles deep into a trail along the base of a mountain when a couple of loose dogs and I crossed paths. Of course there was no cellphone reception, so I was a bit at a loss as to what I should do. Neither one of them would actually come up close to me, but they were close enough that I could see they didn't have collars. I feel like there's a learning opportunity there, always keep your dogs on a leash when you're out in public.

Anyway, first I tried to follow them as best I could, thinking they might pull a Lassie and lead me to their owner or owners. Maybe it was someone in need of help, after all. After what felt like hours of walking, still no sign of the owners. At this point I was getting tired and running low on water, plus it was getting late and starting to sprinkle.

I decided to turn back. Figured I'd call the cops or something once I got back to my car and could get close enough into town for my phone to start working again. Go figure, the dogs followed me. That whole time I thought I was following them. Anyway, get to the stairs leading up to the parking lot, and this lady at the top belted out a screech that could have shattered adamantium. Apparently the dogs were "wild coyotes". Like I was supposed to know that somehow?

  • If that's how you feel "Garfruleld" then I'm leaving you and I'm going to got live with my new beauchat, Handkerchief.

  • Several fossils from the congress of the USA were probably around to witness the development of these revolutionary tools.

  • Build them as connectable hexagons. Learn from the insects, they've had a half billion years to figure out what shit works and what shit don't.
