He was just a Fledditor. Living in a Lemmy woooorld.

  • Those two examples are wildly different from eachother. One is a medical procedure involving theoretical children, and the other has real kids getting injured and killed.

Edit: wanted to add that the medical procedure is always to prevent a major health issue when being funded by state taxes.

  • K. I'm going to get back to work for my company that is mass murdering children by lowering employee reproductive health. (/s)

  • Unsure is /s, but doesn't seem like it.

Reproductive health advocates are not mass murdering children. You're thinking of guns, drugs, and cars if you are in the USA, cancer and other genetic defects if in the UK.

  • As we all know, it is critically important that noone on the internet misunderstands your tone. /s

  • And you are more than likely to never play with the same people ever again forever. No community building, only community destruction.

  • Cheers, I got you bro.

  • ??? 4 and 5 are not connected

  • I have a suspicion that Catholics use wine.

  • Got it. Rykard (Sony) Lord of Blasphemy is trying to devour Godwin (Kadokawa) Scion of the Golden Lineage. It's even lore accurate, let's hope it stops before the Night of Black Knives.

  • I'd send you a hug in a box if I could. Here is my doggo instead

  • Piss baby Ted Cruze and destructive toddler Newt Gengrich both come to mind.

Edit: and don't get me started on the Oklahoma senators. Actively sabatoging education and sowing election distrust.

  • The states having freer, happier people if they seceede. Some of the states have people in charge that I believe would be more exreeme or more crafty in achieving permanent power for themselves. I'd like to be optimistic, but the number of people who agree with Trump's rhetoric and my previous coworker who said they were excited at the idea of a civil war has tempered my positivity.

Something good is here, but I'd still want something to balance the power of those in charge of each state. I definitely agree that the power balance between state and federal right now is all screwed up by the two party system, bad faith actors, and too much distance from the public.

  • I may not agree with all of your points, but well done in the presentation. Comes across as reasoned and thought out instead of the irl people I interract with that downplay the severity of how this will affect the average and non-average US citizen.

  • Sooo, you liked her politics but felt forced into a choice anyway? Am I reading your comment right?

  • That's fair. I'm just trying to decide what I can do living in a country more concerned with populism than policy, and really don't like the reality of that situation. I should probably speak with some Punk artists and musicians.

  • I can't even rely on the US government to value human decency as a native citizen. I'll keep fighting where I can, but yeah. Good luck.

  • So that's why 15 Million less people voted this year for the democratic candidate? All because the Biden administration could only acomplish some of their goals? That 15 million would have voted if they were more stubborn and further left on policies, or if they had managed more of the goals? I don't understand how that makes sense.

  • Is there multiple editions, or just one run?

Edit: Looked it up. Amazon has it, but will check my local bookstore/comicstore first.

  • Pshhhh, noone here is going to argue with you. You're wrong /s

Seriously though, sorry the internet is full of hatefull people. Thank you for what you have shared in the past. Some of us do benefit from hearing other people's struggles, but just don't comment as much. Negative engagement usually outweighs positive engagement on all social media platforms.
