  • AI can't even reproduce the Star-spangled Banner? Pathetic.

  • American. Their standards are American.

  • As a high school student I installed a pirated copy on the school network so my friend and I could play it in class. This was at a small town school where the IT specialist was usually too busy being a teacher and track coach to pay attention to what students were able to do on school computers. They removed the ability for student accounts to install software eventually, but I never got punished for what I did.

  • Finish the Wild Beyond the Witchlight campaign that I've been running for my friends but had to put on a 6 month hiatus as I'm still getting over a break up.

Last year's resolution was to run 10 sessions of DnD and I at least doubled it.

  • The remoras made me think it had wings for a second. Like a koopa-paratroopa

  • You seem to have a very limited view on what constitutes a "pet".

  • If we don't keep pets in the house where do we keep them? Constantly outside? Do we build a separate shed for them? What about fish? Can people keep fish inside? Or lizards? Or Guinea pigs? Or Hamsters? Or gerbils? Or any of the myriad of other small animals that people keep in terrariums/aquariums and can't be kept outside?

The problem with citing that fallacy is that your position is already absurd without reduction.

  • An idea that evolves in its transmission and spreads like a virus. Method of transmission does not matter.

  • "Alienate possible allies because they've got a little too much money."

Dude we're fighting billionaires, small business owners are more likely to side with us than the people whose goal it is to put them out of business and own everything. You just have to actually engage with them and listen to their concerns.

  • At this point? Sherman knew the South was irredeemable and Lincoln should have let him raze the whole place.

  • Propoganda[sic] depends on a lack of willingness to question your own assumptions. Its a laziness of the mind that allows this.

Do you question this assumption? Because I assure you, you aren't immune to it either.

Eta: the arrogance of thinking you're immune actually makes you more susceptible because it's something a propagandist can appeal to and twist to their own ends.

  • This is essentially the plot of Tom Clancy's The Bear and The Dragon. Bad book, don't recommend it.

  • It's important to remember that none of us are immune to propaganda. Doesn't matter how smart we are, we can still fall for it.

  • Again it's not mayo it has the ingredients of mayo. Having the same ingredients but being different is the whole point of the post.

  • Not quite the same, but the save points in Chrono Cross exist in universe and a twist later in the game reveals they're being used to alter people's memories.

Also running on low sanity in Eternal Darkness when it's been a while since you've last saved may cause the game to pretend to corrupt your save files or act like the GameCube lost power.

  • Not surprised Peta would stoop to bodyshaming women.

  • Is it though?
