Self checkout fucks up every second time. Then I have to wait for the server fixing the other 6 fucked machines to do mine. The terminals always seem to be slow with whatever the unfuck commands are.
I installed mint. Used USB WiFi adapter, or shared phone as tethered WiFi over USB, can't remember what one. Opened the drivers app on mint. It asked me to install the proper drivers. Done. No issues since.
Regarding privacy breaches I agree with your tips but its not Google play specific. Fdroid apps can do the same and random apks from links or github can be worse.
Yep. Me and my parents. I'd tried a few distros in the last but always by as issues. Tried arch BTW but I didnt knlw what I was doing.
Thoght about fedora but I'd have to support family so shared to be on the same distro and its not very windows like.
Moved to mibt and bingo. Very much like windows, hardly need to use the termianl, everything just works.
I want to use a PC not sit in the terminal foxing things. That said, I'm slowly getting into the deeper side of linux.
Parents have 0 issues with mint. Even printers just plug and play.
