The Democrats are working in concert with Republicans, their goals are the same: stop the Overton Window of American politics from moving left, and stop populist uprisings by putting a paramilitary secret police in the streets.
Yeah it is lol what you thought they’d draw the line at Iraq and Afghanistan? I’m sure a lot of Nazis said that before the German economy got a conquest-based sugar high. That ain’t happening here. Really, it could have. Somehow they have fucked up regime change in two countries whose populations are suffering greatly under economic sanctions. Typically fertile ground for such adventures. There is something of a mixed blessing in the fact that Trumps criminal regime is all but completely staffed by losers and nincompoops. Let’s hope they fuck up implementation of a permanent military police state as well.
I find it interesting to consider that Judas was designated by Jesus for the task, in order to fulfill the prophetic criteria in the book of Daniel, which many prophetic figures in Judea were obsessed with, not just the Jesus movement.
I work with a bunch of educated conservatives, finance types. They don’t give a fuck but they get very sensitive about political discussion. They won’t care until their material conditions are (more) substantially impacted. Crash the stock market, they’ll care.
