  • I would sincerely advocate for year.month or year.release model so that typical users can figure out how outdated their software is. An average person is usually terrible at keeping software up to date.

  • Isn't there a browser extension to prevent exactly that? Like, "Allow right click"?

  • I compare it to qip or similar with voice calling support about 10 years ago. But still, Slack loses to pretty much anything on the market regarding performance, be that Element, Telegram, Skype or even Discord. It literally battles with biggest IDEs lol

  • Slack is one of those apps which lags in a week on any hardware, it might be better than web version but it still sucks ass compared to fucking ICQ clients. Source: using it in the company I work for, for about 7 years already.

  • GPU-fucking-accelerated terminal emulator. Damn, what an age to live in.

  • I own a full size Batmobile model from a canceled game bundle Batman Arkham Knight: Batmobile Edition. It was canceled due to quality control issue and was shipped to select people before getting canceled. So that's a pretty rare find. All the electronics still works and it can switch normal and battle modes with a remote. Had some people offering multiple thousand bucks for it, and I got it just randomly without knowing it's rare.

  • So, what do we use? Matrix? Element? Idk?

  • Ah shit here we go again

  • Newest release preview builds added an option to turn all the news off, just sayin'

  • I don't remember mentioning I have a problem with that lol

  • What problems are you talking about?

  • Instead of io stuff I just use it as a current snapshot of my dev stuff including repos. Super-easy and super-fast to sync to my other devices just as a vhdx file over any wifi network. Yeah it's not dev drive specific feature but still, I started doing so because of dev drive

  • Yeah dev home is pretty much useless at this point.

Back when it just launched, they marketed it as it would introduce cool stuff to developers like, what I'm waiting for the most, git repositories Explorer integration. But all we have is a constantly crashing app and two extra widgets for the widget panel.

Dev drives are also cool but they're the part of Windows anyway, no dev home needed.

  • Cannot agree with compiler part of cpp. Linker errors on the other hand...

  • Caseoh

  • It depends. If you switch between different branches a lot, Library just grows to infinite sizes due to storing everything from each branch that is unique to those branches. I once had to clear about 600 gigs of library lol.

  • Somewhere to the right has to be unity's Library folder

  • Works in Cromite on android tho.
