Good advice for anything really. If it ain't broke, especially something I trust to automate so much of my life now, I always wait a day or two to see the reactions before diving in.
Ah, but by making some buzzword ai ad and also, having it suck, they've got "news" outlets talking about it. And by extension, us talking about it. Yes, you and I try to live in ad- free bubbles, but here we are thinking about Coke.
I've only ever bought one car new and that's exactly how it happened for me. Shopping in December, dealer had just one of that model year left. It was very well loaded but I had come to them saying I was only looking for something mid range. I'm the end I paid the mid range price I was hoping for but with a lot of extra bells and whistles. There's a lot to be said for timing and patience in the car world.
Of course that was pre pandemic and everything now is getting squeezed. I'm not sure the same rules apply.
I actually answered a trivia question just last week about flotsam and jetsam. Hearing my answer, my wife laughed. "The bad fish from the little mermaid?"
I agree there are benefits to the diy version. Most published party games are based off some home version that's long existed already. And on that note, most party games can be recreated as home versions without buying the experience.
