Oh hi there person who I've upset by expressing my opinion who is now wanting to go back through my post history to find something to use against me! If you're reading this, it's because you've already lost the argument :)

  • The goalpost never moved. Read my original comment and you’ll see that I was very clear in what I said. I even said “close to zero”, not “zero” as you falsely claimed. Who is moving goal posts now?

Also your new Wikipedia (lol) source says something like less than 3 people per year are killed because they’re trans. That’s essentially zero in statistics.

The percentage of women who are assaulted for being women is significantly higher than those assaulted for being trans.

Suicide rates having nothing to do with this conversation.

  • The AEMO are the biggest vested interest in this. Nothing they say can be taken seriously.

Renewables don’t decrease prices because without transmission and grid-scale storage, which doesn’t even exist yet, it’s basically useless.

If you’d heard it was 40% why did you say it was only 6-8% in your previous comment?

  • That doesn’t mean it’s not encrypted on their servers…..

  • Them having access to them is irrelevant if they’re encrypted. What’s the issue?

  • Which part do you think is a lie? The police were right.

  • You missed a very important part of what I said - murdered because they were trans. You can’t just count every trans person that was murdered as being murdered because they were trans.

You’re also citing sources saying something like 50 trans people a year. That’s minuscule.

  • Renewables did no such thing - the government handouts did that. If the average power bill dropped by $400 it’s because they gave every household $1000 off their energy bills paid using our tax money - meaning the average electricity bill actually increased by $600 that year.

Transmission makes up about 50% of a power bill according to the power companies themselves.

    https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-04-12/power-prices-to-rise-in-clean-energy-transition/103696450

Network costs (the poles and wires) account for about 45 per cent of a power bill and it's these costs that are on their way up.

  • The police didn’t lie to him. Those are what he had to do if he didn’t want to be charged.

What part do you think is a lie?

  • “Renewables”. There’s no other answer. Ever since we started trying to eliminate the cheap, high energy density, reliable power sources (coal, gas) and started replacing them with unreliable, highly inefficient, spread out “renewables” our cost of power has skyrocketed.

The more “renewables” we put in the system, the higher the price goes. 50% of power bills are transmission costs, and the transmission costs for renewables are so high that the government refuses to disclose how high they are going to be. Pretty much every expert estimate puts it in the trillions of dollars.

  • My iTunes/Apple account is over 20 years old so nothing will need to be done.

I MUCH prefer Apple/microsoft/Google being the points of authority on age verification than the government.

  • You can ship encrypted files you know…..?

  • The cost of B2 storage is very high, what are you talking about? USD$6 per terabyte per month would be like $4k a year for me.

  • I switched to a DAS for my storage and use backblaze to back up all 50TB+. I couldn’t find a cost effective way to do it with a NAS.

  • No, the reality is that it DOES affect plenty of people I count as friends and family. It affects my wife, my daughters, my mother, my cousins, nieces, friends, and so on. They are who is affected and put at risk by allowing trans women into women’s sex segregated spaces.

If all it takes to get access to women’s changing rooms is to say you’re a woman, that’s what perverts and creeps will do - and this is what we’ve seen ever since this issue arose.

You’re saying that the entire population of females’ safety matters less than the feelings of the fraction of a percent of males who identify as women. Trans women aren’t in danger in men’s spaces. Men rape other men at an infinitely smaller rate than they do women. Women, however, are in danger if mean are allowed in women’s spaces simply by saying they are women.

The number of people murdered every year because they’re trans is close to zero in the western world.

  • No I didn’t. In Australia the registered owner of the car is legally responsible and assumed to be driving the car unless they nominate the person who was.

    The evidence was exceptionally weak

How is a car running from police, getting its wheels blown out, continuing to run for another few kilometres, and then being abandoned “exceptionally weak”? The police had his car. If he can’t name who was driving it, he is responsible. That’s literally the law.

If you leave your car at home and one of your kids takes it and gets a speeding fine, parking fine, it red light camera fine and none of them will own up and you can’t figure out who it was, guess who takes the rap for it? YOU. Saying you don’t know who it was isn’t a get out of jail free card.

  • “Sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me”

Sorry but words are not violence, and words do not cause physical harm. You can be offended by words, but that doesn’t mean the words are offensive.

There are so many cases of trans women litigating and carrying on relentlessly about not being welcomed in to women-only places, that you suggesting it doesn’t happen is crazy. I’m sure you know about the tickle vs giggle case that’s been going through the courts for almost 4 years now, don’t you?

Also do you not see the hypocrisy of saying women need to suck it up and be scared/uncomfortable because of having males in female-only spaces, while also screaming about how scared and uncomfortable and fragile trans people are and how that means they should be able to use opposite sex spaces? I’m sure you don’t tbh.

“Men are so dangerous and violent, trans women aren’t safe in men’s spaces”

Your solution: allow males in females spaces lol

Leopards don’t change their spots. Gender isn’t what makes a man infinitely more dangerous than a woman, sex is.

Do I need to remind you about the percentage of trans women in prison who are there for sexual assault offences? Or how seemingly every time a trans woman is put in a women’s jail they end up raping someone?

  • Why am I so hung up on sex being important for sex-based things? I would think that’s pretty obvious.

Should a gynaecologist be forced to inspect and test my penis to see if I have cervical cancer?
