  • I legitimately don't understand what this post is referring to with "the movement" and "what we need the most".

  • My money is on "nothing new". Long drawn-out war is my thought.

  • On another note, I've long theorized that there's a split between isolationist, and imperialist conservatives, who primarily differ in foreign policy. Alt-right and Neocons respectively.

Trump was able to win against the GOP establishment due to the support of the former. What we are now observing is Trump becoming their Judas -- I don't think they will fall back in line for him after this.

After all, he doesn't really have to worry about popularity anymore. There isn't going to be any further elections for him, one way or the other.

  • Pretty much all the Pro-Russian Twitter accounts that I know are consistently drawing attention to Israel's psychopathic actions and calling them out for it, and are ridiculing the MAGA side for believing in Trump's bullshit.

They aren't what I would consider Marxist, or even Leftist, yet what they say is remarkably consistent with everything said here.

Almost feels like the state of the world has deteriorated to a point where ideology doesn't even matter anymore. There is now a split of those who can observe and understand basic realities, and those who no longer can (or aren't willing to do so).

  • We really have reached the point where Tucker Carlson is the voice of reason, huh

    https://www.politico.com/news/2025/06/18/ted-cruz-tucker-carlson-fight-00411980

At first, Carlson launched a softball at Cruz, asking how many people live in Iran. Cruz didn’t know the answer.

“You don’t know the population of the country you seek to topple?” Carlson asked, later pressing, “How could you not know that?”

Cruz sloughed off the interrogation, replying: “I don’t sit around memorizing population tables.”

But the interaction began to get heated as Carlson got increasingly frustrated by Cruz’s apparent lack of knowledge.

“Well it’s kind of relevant because you’re calling for the overthrow of the government,” Carlson shot back, before suggesting that Cruz doesn’t “know anything about the country.”

“I didn’t say I don’t know anything about the country,” Cruz said.

“Okay, what’s the ethnic mix of Iran?” Carlson asked, prompting a pause from the senator.

“They are Persians and predominantly Shia,” Cruz offered, getting defensive as Carlson cut in to ask “What percent?”

“You don’t know anything about Iran!” Carlson said, as the two men began yelling over each other. “You’re a senator who is calling for the overthrow of the government and you don’t know anything about the country!”

  • Except the part about "Holocaust guilt". In reality, they just want to see brown people get killed.

  • Here's the key lesson: WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH PEOPLE TO WIN VIOLENT STRUGGLE AND YOU NEED TO GO WHERE THE MASSES ARE TO RALLY THEM TO OUR CAUSE.

Most people are allergic to the idea of even violent speech, whether online or in person. Many can't even pass the very low bar of saying a phrase like "We should kill Nazis", because they are afraid that it will come back to destroy their lives. This fear is what keeps the American people under control.

As such, even if you can get them to support your cause, getting them to act is a much higher bar to pass. It will require making them less risk-averse, and showing them that there is a real chance of success. For many, this will also likely require living conditions to deteriorate much further and at a rapid pace, to the point where taking action becomes much less unthinkable than it would be otherwise. If people are too risk-averse and comfortable, you'll likely just end up with the next crop of fools who think they can reform the existing system to preserve their current amenities and treats. That path has always failed, and will fail again.

  • I recently saw a Twitter thread where a MAGA guy was complaining that Trump wasn't doing what he promised and that both parties are the same.

Then one of the replies said something along the lines of "So we should have voted Kamala instead?" which kicked off an argument

and for a brief moment I experienced a sort of Twilight Zone where I saw the usual "Leftist vs Liberal" conversation play out between MAGA guys and Neocons instead.

    It was an incredible experience.

  • Not sure why people are dooming about the drone attacks.

For one, Ukraine always massively exaggerates their supposed successes. For the other, there have been much worse incidents for Russia in this war, and things went on as if nothing happened.

  • Isn't military service compulsory in Israel though?

So really any male Jewish citizen of Israel would be a former soldier?

  • Putin has to be aware that his endorsement is pretty much perceived like the mark of the devil in the West, right?

Like, this has to be intentional trolling, right?

  • "such aversion to democracy is not typical for regular humans"

Ah I see, these appear to be a subtype of Hitler particles -- Democracy particles.

  • Being smug comes with the package though.

  • 1 sentence, 10 words, and the particle meter is already going crazy.

  • Nah this is regular garden-variety Scandinavian/Eastern European theory.

There's been a report recently that the world's population is actually massively undercounted btw, especially in rural areas. Not sure if there was any merit to it.

  • Community successor to Facepunch Forums after they were shut down (Facepunch Studios being the creator of Gmod). LGBTQ friendly, Pro-Palestine, Pro-Ukraine, Anti-China.

Left wing but with strong neoliberal/NATO brainworms that they can't seem to get rid of.

  • Ultimately, the sentiment isn't completely wrong. Using a different browser isn't going to save you from being tracked. Using one or multiple browser extensions isn't going to save you from being tracked. Using a VPN isn't even going to save you from being tracked.

Accounts are pretty much required to use most sites, and many also require connecting a phone number or other personal details. Privacy is actively discouraged, and attempting to pursue it leaves you with many hardships -- by design I would argue. You buy a product on one site, with no prior search history about it, and suddenly you start getting emails from unrelated sites about similar products. In capitalism, any information about your habits and interests also becomes a commodity. Why shouldn't people dismiss privacy in favor of convenience, in such a system? It seems futile to even try.

And if your government is determined to figure out who you are online, then it will. Don't make the mistake of thinking they don't know what you've been up to, here or otherwise.
