  • There was a company of heroes clone a while ago called iron harvest. It was ok, I liked it better than company of heroes,

    Unfortunately it surfers from the same issues of poor camera angles and unit controls.

    As for rts I have recently been playing empires of the undergrowth, it plays like a sort of dungeon keeper game. Highly recommend that one.

    What about the blm organizers who were later killed in mysterious ways? What about the assassinations of numerous Iranian scientists and diplomats, etc. Western democracies kill way more opposition figures.

    In 2023 there are were 12k people inprisoned in the UK for posting, and 3k in Germany, less than 100 in Russia or Iran, and I'm willing to bet there are many more people planing terrorists stacks over the internet in Iran than in Germany.

    This was in 2023, I'm imagining the difference is much greater now.

  • Of course there is a spectrum, and it mostly has to do with that vassal's industrial capacity, and the degree to which their comprador class is dependent on the empire. That's why the UK or turkey have more agency.

    By that measure, Saudi and co. Are much closer to Afghanistan than to the UK.

    And even then the agency of the UK is clearly very limited, when they are engaging in a suicidal with Russia, that's destroying their own industry.

  • These people were all installed by western interests, and serve western interests. The ruling class is completely removed from the rest of society. That's why they don't share a national interest.

    China would not send troops to defend them. Without the us they are gone it would take perhaps a little over a month to see all these people hanged. They are not playing both sides, because there is no other side.

    Claiming they are clever and independent, when so far we have only seen them further colonial interests, is the propaganda they tell their people and you to seem legitimate. They are not, let's not legitimize these colonial regimes.
