I just got back into it since I never finished the main quest line and it’s actually more fun to play now, bug fixes and optimization for the series S/X made load screens instant and I’m blazing through stuff a lot faster.

Europe is not entirely defenseless but the vast majority of NATO firepower comes from USA, and sadly we are not a reliable ally. Saab is already learning this from countries rethinking their purchase of the F-35.
This is my fear. For all intents and purposes Article 5 basically says “poke us and the Americans will fire up the meat grinder,” the EU is in a vulnerable position right now since our CVNs may all be tasked with lining up for parade on a whim or whatever bullshit and the US is the overwhelming majority of force in NATO.
