  • Neil Cicierega is a goddamned treasure.

  • Yes, it's the museums' fault the US's history comes off so poorly.

  • Fancy Tin Man

  • He was born and raised in Dorchester which is a stones throw from Boston. And even still, people in Foxboro absolutely have "the accent".

  • You are not alone

  • Oddly enough he had the worst Bostonian accent out of the whole cast. He sucks out loud and so does his acting.

  • This will be an unpopular opinion but I cannot stand Nic Cage. He's unwatchable to me. His mannerisms, his delivery, everything about him tweaks me the wrong way.

  • Is this much different from, "I googled it" which seems to be a little more acceptable?

  • In the US: Not wholly illegal but I predict erosion of the 4th amendment under the guise of keeping the country safe. I predict the definition of a "reasonable" search and seizure will expand.

Across the world: as someone else mentioned, encryption is going to start getting a lot more attention as well.

  • I don't get it.

  • Then fold the $5 bill into a paper crane and sell it for 10 dollars.

Then make a crane out of the 10 and double up again.

You're a genius, this can go on forever.

  • According to this, always be shitting and you'll never have a bad time.

  • What a game! I spent many hours playing this as a kid and some more as an adult!

  • I'm just glad he's not facing the other way

  • "It takes a village"

    Social programs exist

    "...no not like that."

  • Tbf I've never seen "treatment" shortened to "treat"

At least put a period at the end to show it's abbreviated.

  • In some ways yes and in some ways no.

Data and information are now more widely available than ever. Of course, misinformation is also more widely available than ever.

The new web feels devoid of passion/ humanity. Gone are the days of self funded sites that existed "just because". Now everything has to generate revenue to stay afloat. I do miss the days where it felt special to be on the Internet, whether you were hosting content or observing it.
