He recently installed linux mint to try, mainly because of the dubious quality of windows 11. After using it normally for many hours (maybe for 2 ~ 3 days), his system just froze, the audio entered a loop, and he was only able to shut the computer down pulling it from the plug.
I have no idea why this happens, this used to happen to me as well on arch, but then it just stopped (maybe some package update fixed it?).
I've seem people pointing to proprietary nvidia drivers causing it, but I never understood how the driver could freeze everything in the computer.
The fear is that it will make the doctors more efficient, especially with things like charting, but then will that time go back to the patients or will they just have to see more patients?
This, along with the errors the AI is prone to make, are the main concerns I have with AI usage in the healthcare industry.
If they're able to streamline the AI usage into a process that doesn't allow (or minimizes) errors, I'm ok with that, but usually the higher ups (who can be very distant from the medical practice) decide when to use AI or not, and they mostly fail because they do not live the routines of those who will use the tool.
Because some women love calling men dumb or stupid online and then wonder why boys become incel/redpill men in the future.
I'm not saying that many men online aren't doing the same to women. I'm just tired, as a man, to go online and see memes diminishing men, and when I try to address it, nobody seems to care.
