  • I think a big part of it is there is a lot of propaganda in the country with conservatives being "fiscally responsible". Their candidates rarely are fiscally responsible, for example conservative premier doug ford wants to rip out new bike lanes, spend money in court making bike lanes illegal, and promote car dependancy.

    The conservatives also deny climate change and an upsetting amount of canadians deny climate change despite the recent wildfire smoke blanketing the country.

  • Wouldn't a bike lane supporter basically be able to send the same letter but complaining about the business protesting the DOT? This is 100% the law firm using its title to imply that protesting is illegal and the firm will sue anyone found voicing an opinion different than theirs.

  • There are many places you can't be legally armed. In Canada for example firearms are legal for hunting purposes, but even using one for genuine self defense will lead to lengthy legal battles at best.

  • Genetics and other factors play a roll. I have long hair and am male. I use a cheap shampoo 3 times a week and a conditioner once a month. I find the most important thing is brushing regularly to keep it looking good and spread the natural oils around.

  • A relatively simple improvment they can make would be giving the street cars prioirty at traffic lights. This would decrease travel times and increase schedule consistency. Is it really fair for 60 people on a streetcar to face a 2 minute delay because 1 person in a car is waiting to turn left in the shared lane?
