  • If you have a pixel. I use calyxOS since I don't and it's a bit more secure than lineage.

Also, if you bought your phone through your cell provider, its probably not happening. The bootloader is probably locked. There miiight be some janky tutorials to get around it, but you might brick your phone. Ask me how i know.

  • Countries already have lax immigration laws for scientists. I immigrated to Europe and where I am scientists are fast tracked to the nice residency and aren't made to learn the local language.

  • The people related to immigrants are often voting constituents interested in their and their families rights if that's what you mean. Immigrant do have constitutional rights. For example, you can't just deny them freedom of speech or enslave them just because they're non citizens. That would be wild.

  • Yup. I live abroad and pay no US taxes.

  • They aren't the same. But they don't need to be the same for them to both suck and not deserve to be in power. But harm reduction is real.

  • OK. But what are you actually doing right now? What are any of us doing right now?

  • Americans do a lot of SMS.

  • In understand cherry picking just fine. You only like the data that fits your narrative and it's pretty obvious. Any thing doesn't firt your narrative is "liberal" or an "outlier." People like you always have excuses when the evidence doesn't say exactly what you want it to.

  • Sounds like a lot of mental gymnastics for cherry picking.

  • No. I just don't use truth social. And for 2.5 years after the 2020 election I didn't hear anything about trump and it was glorious. And I pay attention to politics.

P.s. your real clear polling link has trump doing worse that 538, so maybe you should just stick to 538.

  • I used your specific 538 source ya goober. You can't give a source and then cherry pick what i should read from it.

I heard didly from Trump for years until he started campaigning again. The GOP establishment turned their back on him after he lost the 2020 election. But sure. Unquestionable leader.

But you're really just going to make up whatever definitions that suits your narrative. Trump was the unquestionable leader after he became a pariah but the VP is not at the center of politics at all. Absolutely wild assertions.

  • Im sorry, do we trust 538s polling average you cited again or not? I honestly can't keep up with your gymnastics. What citations would you like to cherry pick again?

Ahh right. Being VP isn't center stage but checks notes being nothing for 4 years still constitutes as center stage. Got it. You should try out for the Olympics.

  • Its not the highest. Its +5.3 when it was +8.2 a few werks ago. And its amazing you're still trying to do so many mental gymnastics to brag about a temporary +8.2 approval rating.

I could probably go through the data and find someone with better approval at one point after years of being in politics. Hell, I'm pretty sure Bidens approval after being elected after being vp for 8 years and then on the campaign trail another 4 years was higher than +8.2 direactly after he was elected. But the premise of bragging about a temporary +8.2 approval rating is so stupid I'm not going to bother to make a real comparison and entertain it.

  • You heard it folks. People temporarily like trump a tiny bit more than they hate him and that's ridiculously amazing. The bar is in hell.

It didn't used to be normal that politicians were so hated and its weird to act like we should be happy about a politician most poeple hate.

  • Again, I never said "polls are meaningless." I said "poll bumps all presidents have after an election resulting in a transfer of power are meaningless in reference to policy approval."

But look back at your own link. His approval rating is already slipping back. Less than a month ago he was at +8.2 and now he's at +5.3. And it will only accelerate as his policy sinks in. Also wild that you think +8.2 approval could mean that anyone is "very satisfied." But, whatever.

  • Sorry, let me hold your hand on what i was saying a little more. Approval rating bumps directly after an election where there's been no time for major policy to occur (let alone for people to digest that policy and it's fallout) because there's been a transfer of power is meaningless when it comes to reflecting policy.
