  • Facebook spent years in court just to get hit with the largest fine in the history of fines, 5,000,000,000.00 USD. They also payed another 725,000,000.00 in lawsuits.

All for selling to a British market research company that they had no idea was a Russian shell.

Idk how much you think they made off the deal, but probably nowhere close to as much as they lost.

  • As we illustrated several times in this thread, for Americans an American Company collecting your data is a lower risk than an adversarial dictatorship's military operation collecting your data for free (or even for profit as a cherry on top).

  • Slrpnk just feels like masked up tankies. They're even opaquely opposing the TikTok ban lol.

  • I don't remember the tags.

  • Theres a longer version of this post somewhere where they had a funny discourse in tge tags.

  • Mozilla Corp's Gecko Engine has allowed several non-corporate flavored browsers into existence, such as various forks on their github or Waterfox.

Then if you dont mind slow speeds you can try Tor Browser.

  • Oh no! I accidentally left location services on and now they've bricked my computer with ransomware! /sarcasm

  • If you're using VLC to play downloaded MKV and AVIs then injected threats are far from uncommon.

If a person already has a source for content they trust then go with torrents but if they don't then it isn't safer at all.

  • Pretty easy to identify, quarantine, and repair threats from a browser compared to downloads.

  • Tbh I feel like downloading anime in any form is an unnecesary security risk. Theres websites that host it for free and adblockers that make them squeaky clean to visit.

  • I bet biblical Satan would endorse Kamala but vote Trump, tbh.

  • What year did Norm die in, again?

EDIT: 2021, so this was probably real.

  • OMG we're totally twinning

$300 for yours if you wanna help me complete my set?

  • His argument was super fucked up, too. He said a bunch of really racist stuff. Heard he got a lot more tolerant as he got older, one of the few presidents whose entire life was so completely documented via letters and journals.

  • Murdering six civilians in the streets was blown out of proportion? What number of people do you believe it is acceptable to murder in the streets? I'd like a citation on surrounded by a mob of several hundred, if you have it. EDIT: I found it but I also found that this happened before all of that:

On February 22, a mob of patriots attacked a known loyalist’s store. Customs officer Ebenezer Richardson lived near the store and tried to break up the rock-pelting crowd by firing his gun through the window of his home. His gunfire struck and killed an 11-year-old boy named Christopher Seider and further enraged the patriots.

Boston held 2,000 British soldiers and 16,000 colonists, btw.

  • As long is it's not autogenerated then thats fine. The correct statement would be

"What Arch user actually like:" --> "What Arch users are actually like:"

or even "What Arch users actually look like:"

By leaving it as "what they like" you could be implying that they like these things, as in they enjoy them.

"Like" has both a verb definition and an adjective. And also a noun, but I've never once seen it used that way lol.

  • Russia collectively is controlled by Putin individually. So we cannot morally condemn the defence of Ukraine without supporting War in general.

  • I demand an immediate end to the war in Ukraine whereby Russia cedes even more land to Ukraine.

  • Putin does not have poor material conditions. This is his fucking house:

And just wait until you see the Guest House that Xi Jinping stays at while visiting NK.
