I'll actually put the blame for this on Apple. The fact that the operating system is so hostile to power users and customization is the reason you have to have a third party application to get the scroll to work how you want and assign functions to mouse buttons in the first place.
No, you're an asshole because you're grouping people with their oppressors. Cloaking yourself in a faux civility and saying all opinions are equal is not cool.
The fun thing about agnostics and atheists that exhibit "zealotry and hubris" is they're almost always victims of extreme religious environments that got out and want to help others, only to have people like you group them with their previous oppressors.
A little stronger wording than I'd normally use, but fundamentally my opinion. Any religious person either is incapable of or does not care to base their actions and opinions on reality, and that proclivity will manifest in other aspects of their life.
The goal is to make everything work in the latest version. When an older version works better that means there was a regression in the newer version. Unfortunately, development doesn't always go in a straight line. Hotfix or experimental may have fixes or temporary hacks to make programs work that haven't made it into the mainline yet.
I can't understand how anyone can look at Harris campaigning with Liz Cheney and musing about how great Dick Cheney is and think that campaign would have worked for anyone. Add in the fact that trump (though lying) discussed affordability and Harris was all "we'll get you generational wealth too, somehow!" like that fucking meant anything and that she backed off of the actual popular positions she held historically such as m4a and it completely mystifies me that anyone can seriously look at her campaign and say that being a woman is anywhere near the top of the list of reasons voters were not motivated to vote for her.
It's interesting that all the devs I already respected don't use it or use it very sparingly and many of the devs I least respected sing it's praises incessantly. Seems to me like "skill issue" is what leads to thinking this garbage is useful.
