  • If open source is a big deal for you I would look into Prusa, they have a great track record and a lot of other companies are using forked versions of their slicer. I have a Prusa MK3s and absolutely love it. I had a self sourced RepRap before this and compared to that it absolutely "just works". I bought the multi color add on and was expecting it to be very finicky, but other than some initial filament loading issues (have to make sure the end of the filament goes to a point) I absolutely love it.

  • Elon Musk ’s backing of Donald Trump is hurting Tesla ’s struggling EV business in Europe

  • There are some truly great apple products, so I don't think it's fair to dismiss them all as terrible. But they are overpriced across the board. They also have a habit of anti-consumer practices like giving you a worse experience if you don't exclusively use apple products.

  • In what way is this like what happened with the civil war? States started leaving the union before Lincoln was even in office, not 3 years into his term

  • Pretty sure China has actually been a part of Taiwan for 2000 years

  • In any modern IDE "dredging through old commits" means clicking a single button to see who last changed the line. From there it often makes sense to go look at the PR to see a higher level of what was changed. You cannot include all of that context in a single comment.

  • If a game developer can't trust the platform you're developing for, you probably should look to find better business partners.

  • Right, and blockchain/NFT have nothing to do with that problem. Xbox could have implemented the exact same program without a blockchain, they just wanted the buzzword in the headline.

  • Because then they wouldn't be able to evangelize NFTs. You see this constantly with crypto/NFT tech, a solution in search of a problem

  • What the fuck are you talking about? It doesn't matter how many options you have for an exchange, as soon as you choose one you give the keys to the castle to another person. You have no idea who they are, if you should trust them, or what your recourse would be if they scammed you. But don't worry the scary government won't be involved at all. What a joke.

  • The second that people started using centralized crypto exchanges this argument went out the window. A third party has just as much control, with zero oversight isn't that neat?

  • Russia is killing people every day and will continue to do so. When you are afraid to help your neighbor from an aggressor, who will help you when it's your turn?

  • What are you smoking and where can I get some?

  • Bro you sound like you might need a hug

  • What do you mean? The US is switching to NACS which is a standardized plug, Tesla superchargers will not be the only charging network to use it.

  • To extend your analogy, you first said "Even my non-artist relatives know the sky is green" then I said "most people know the sky is yellow". Why would I need to "prove" my statement any more than you should? You think it's my job to educate you or something? If you want to know go do some research, otherwise we can just agree that we have different views, but I'm not about to go do your homework for you.
