  • I thought it was just a bad Photoshop as the boundaries between them and the scenery is too sharp.

  • Baseball could be called stickball, taking MLS so 'soccer' would need a new... Hey, that actually works out.

  • I'd say not as much sissies, more moronic cavemen who don't know how not to hurt themselves or each other.

  • Yeah, she was let go.

  • Beyond that, Hemsworth looks too much like his brother so it kept breaking what little immersion was left with me constantly forgetting Mjölnir or Loki aren't going to show up.

  • I saw the same in the bay area.

There was even one asshole reviewer that said they started wrapping their baby's diapers soiled-side out and tossing them straight in the dumpster just because some people would go through the trash looking for recycling.

  • I've used shamrock in the past. Their payment process seems a bit sketchy by getting an email to pay through cash app (given the current legality), but I did get legit product when a last got some a couple years ago.

I guess they got a warning last year from the FDA for having Δ-8 products. (But not psylocibin???)

They do look to still be around so it could be worth a shot. My advice though with ordering something like this online is only buy if you can afford to possibly lose the cash/product in the mail from confiscation or from a possible scam.

  • I can finally buy a house.

  • Ah. I've more heard the mention of a season as when a game or installment is released during the year. Like, "This season's Battletoads...". Not that a game's iteration was called a season. The more you know I guess.

  • Yeah, I don't disagree with it being accurate. More just that it's a very sensitive pain-point for a lot of people and the way it's worded, at first glance, can make people who are legitimately struggling feel forgotten.

A bit hyperbolic, but it can be something like, "Jeff is trying to make ends meet by skipping meals. Fred is feeling the pressure of the economy and decides to forgo the avocado toast. Let's focus on Fred."

Again, it's a sensitive subject and as such wording of headlines starts to become more and more important. Something like, "In today's economy, even owning a million dollars is meaning less and less," could be a bit more neutral.

  • Didn't know.

It still does (at least to me) look like they formatted it to low-key insult the people complaining about the advent of ads on appliances.

  • I get the vibe that they wanted to use Karen, but realized alienating and insulting their users just for complaining about the ads was a bit too far. (Apple and Samsung can just rot in a ditch)

  • I think people are just having issue with the title, mostly.

Also, I wouldn't really count an IRA having a million dollars as being a millionaire with the rules regarding distribution. Even a Roth (at least in the US) can have penalties if withdrawn before the beneficiary is 59.5 years old. I'd more consider the title of a millionaire as having at least a million dollars in liquidity, usually more.

  • Since when did video games get "seasons"?

  • For anyone curious, the privacy video is in their latest(?) blog post on their site. It should be viewable anywhere as it's outside the NSFW area and before the 18+ notice.

(Just bear in mind that while it should be SFW, it is still under a porn-site's domain.)

  • I'm waiting for huge spike of trojan-infected computers from people trying to bypass the law by torrenting their porn from unknown sources.

  • Just to piss people off

  • Enterprise is straight garbage right now.

On a work trip to Georgia, they gave me a car with a nice big gash on the front passenger sidewall. I didn't see it when I picked it up as it was at night and the airport garage was dark and I only noticed it the next day coming out of the factory, after driving all the way from ATL to Suwanee. (~45mi/70km) I wasn't going to risk a trip back to the airport, so I spent 2-3 hours calling around to try to exchange it at a closer store; a lot of it being on hold and getting hung up on. None of them had any inventory (most were pick-up only) and no one even seemed concerned at all when I told them about the gash.

Eventually I got tired and annoyed of the BS and went to the closest store and told them to just take the car back as I got a rental elsewhere. (Hertz had a full inventory, right across the street and the service was huge amount more personable and friendly.)

    Oi, and here's the gash.

  • Brewed is a bit more healthier than instant and you can support local roasters over the corporate-owned ones.

Jumping out and saying "BOO!" could be considered an assassination attempt to either of the two main candidates for the US presidency.
