  • People are not machines with linear productivity gain the more they work. That is why your argument is flawed. You only goes by numbers instead of counting in the human factor (if you genuinely mean it and aren't trying to russle my jimmies). Majoring in economics doesn't mean anything if you only learn half the stuff. I majored in political economy and was also in business and they are worlds apart. So I recommend you read up about the political economy (Volkswirtschaft).

  • It's not even as if they express opinions. They only post links (usually of articles). 10 to 30 of them before abandoning the accounts. Why the throwaway accounts?

  • We are trying to figure out a solution that wont negatively affect genuine users. Issue is that due to certain limitations at the moment finding a solution is difficult. So all we can do is what we have done so far: ban suspicious new accounts that only spam posts into news communities without interaction.

  • I have banned a few bot accounts already. I will leave it up to the community mods whether they want to remove the posts or not.

  • Since the problem is ongoing, why not do some temporary manual vetting of accounts? Or is there a function to just prevent account from posting for a few days and they can only comment?

  • Issue is still ongoing. I have banned a few accounts that would spam 20 to 30 posts a day to abandon the account after one to three days, just to make another. Got really bad since Valeshio.

Ich geh davon aus, dass es wenigstens nach Landesrecht Ausnahmen gibt wo man von dem Abnahmezwang befreit werden kann. Wenn nicht, klagst du das ein und hilfst bei Erfolg unzählige Leute, die in der selben Lage stecken.

  • I apologize for the misbehavior of one of our users. The person was warned for misbehavior on other instances and was unrepentant. He even had the audacity to act arrogantly and curse me out per DMs. Upon discussion with other admins, we decided to permanently remove the user and warn the user shall he see this that any alt account of his we become aware of, will be permanently banned from Feddit.
