Projection is literally his thing. He thinks of something fucked up to do to the other side and then accuses them for doing the same. A recent example of this is his accusation of the Dems slowing hurricane relief where it was actually him saying this during the Woolsey fire since he was convinced that the locals didn't vote for him.
