  • LOL, you quite literally have no clue. Don't get me wrong I understand. There's a lot of blind criticism without nuance that gets passed around on lemmy.

    Despite being an anarchist, and not having anyone to endorse in the National election. I got endless hate for pointing out that Gaza wasn't on the ballot. That it was either going to be a Democrat or a Republican and we would pray that it wasn't a republican. That we should do whatever it takes to ensure the Republicans didn't win. I e voting for the next most likely to win candidate aka the Democrats. That the constant sniping at Biden / Harris over Gaza was only helping the Republican.

    I voted for Harris. Because despite disagreeing with the Democrats vehemently on many fronts. Staving off open fascism and all the people now being hurt by it was important. I'm a pragmatist before an idealogue. My criticism of Democrats isn't coming from irreconcilable ideological grounds. Despite disagreeing with them I have no issue working with them when interests align. But let's be real. As a party they've made decades worth of unforced errors. And they still are. They need to be better. They need to push back. Even just making gestures for show. Which they really aren't. Mid terms are coming. They need to show people why to vote for them.

    None, just at least give the posture and appearance of trying. It's a low bar they're failing. You know, not voting for grossly disqualified candidates in the name of bipartisanship. As Booker has.

    No one is asking them to be community organizers. Just not to be enablers of fascists. Showing strong signs that they stand against them and with the people.

  • Actually plasma mobile is more than adequate for this device. It works great. Granted the desktop once it's loaded takes up a little less than half the ram. But that 2 GB still allows me to do some pretty heavy browsing video watching even painting in krita.

  • I called them all out. I named Democrats specifically, because pushing back against all of this should have been job one from day one. But I have personally watched them flail and fail for 4 plus decades. In fact even recently I've watched some Democrats whom I had previously respected and thought well of appease and enable the fascists. Like Cory Booker. I called him out specifically because we expect better of them. We don't have reason to expect better of them but we do.

  • That probably played some part as well I'm sure. But having done some sets with Punk/ psychobility. The tracklist is usually double that of a regular set. Which isn't a big deal if you just picking things out at random and just playing whatever. But if you're actually planning a set out. It's twice the work for the same amount of time.

  • I got an old Chromebook tablet and tossed post market on it. I wish it had a bit more ram. 4gb. But other than that more than adequate. Best 50 bucks I've spent o. A tablet.

  • No one should be surprised. There's never been consequences. Why would someone not delete evidence, when from easily Nixon, Reagan and on. There's been zero consequence.

    He should be forced to serve the rest of his short term from a jail cell. But best Democrats and all the other elected officials can do is make concerned faces. Shaking their heads.

  • I wouldn't mind just one screen size. The main reason I won't buy another Android tablet for the foreseeable future. Is that none of them support them long term. I have three different ones from the last 10 years. All of which we're doing good just to get one OS upgrade
