  • I don't know that it counts as a disease, but, for anyone who never wants kids, infertility is a huge blessing.

  • Having had a few of them with never so much as a minor running toilet, I would recommend Toto. They "just work".

  • I wonder if the real lesson is that the sense of urgency created by "snap" elections works out better than our system which involves politicians endlessly being in campaign mode.

  • I think you're referring to a sale that did not go through. I remember reading about that not too long ago. I assume that potential sale in particular is what led to this change.

Edit: I read the article. I was mostly right, except the sale did go through but the land had to be sold again promptly.

The expansion comes less than two months after a previous CFIUS review handed a Chinese-linked company and its partners 120 days to sell property they had purchased one mile from a U.S. Air Force base in Wyoming that is home to part of the U.S. nuclear missile arsenal.

  • I wish, but I didn't have electric hookup available and didn't want to call in an electrician, so it's a pretty standard toilet aside from the flushing system (which works perfectly and doesn't run!).

  • It's a reference. "Lions and tigers and bears, oh my."

  • When the new owners decide to create a house for imprisoning evil ghosts.

  • Fixing a running toilet was so much easier before gravity flow took over everything. I even bought a Japanese toilet recently because the gravity flow device in my standard American toilet just would.not.seal., even after replacing it. Thing was driving me nuts.

So instead, I had my dad install a toilet for me! Go dad.

  • I have never been so grateful to live in the PNW. We're a bit of a hike from NC, but you'd be plenty safe here!

  • Man, I would not want to live near that.

  • Things have been going really well for me lately.

  • Texas, Florida, Idaho, Ohio, Oklahoma....

  • Well, being both a little sick and kind of depressed, I'll probably throw out the salmon I was going to cook for dinner last night, or boil it and feed it to the dog. Then I'll order food that I didn't need and don't want, then I will stay up too late while still being bored, and then I will finally go to sleep to do it all tomorrow, but with a different food to waste.

  • lol, change your phone number because of one group abusing it. "Just subject yourself to this massive hassle."

  • The wealthy have been quietly waging class war on the rest of us for decades millennia.

  • I have permanent mild hearing loss and tinnitus from some jackass adult setting off small fireworks right next to me when I was fourteen. Had severe ringing in my ears and significant hearing loss for a couple of months after that. Thanks, asshole.

  • They should be strictly regulated, used only by professionals.

  • Empathy, and I expect the why speaks for itself.

  • No way. I've had food poisoning within only about two hours of eating on more than one occasion (once bad oysters, once bad eggs). The eggs especially had me promptly lying on the bathroom floor.
