I dont get the downvotes. China is state controlled capitalism with all the negatives of capitalism like extreme wealth disparity. China couldnt be further from a stateless, classless moneyless society that communism aspires.

The biggest issue is a lack of investments due to us putting a block of taking on new government debt into our constitution so there never is enough money to invest in things like the infrastructure.

Landlords buy an essential good just so they can squeeze money out of their renters. Housing should never be seen as an investment, yet these parasites do.
Especially those that own a couple houses as "investment". Housing should not be an investment. With the big companies you could argue at least that they are also building houses, which we need since the government wont build enough. Not saying they arent parasites either though.
I have always engaged with every one of them and have been negative quite often yet never anything bad came of it. Probably because we have employee rights where I live. So the actual problem is americas lacks of rights.
