Trump very much has a role in what's happening right now. That absolutely does not excuse Biden's funding of this genocide here and now, but it's just factually incorrect to not include Trump's involvement in setting the stage. For example, his administration's heavy use of vetos in the UNSC related to Israel have absolutely played a direct role in the escalations preceding Oct 7th.
Not just that, but real rewards for solid negative results. Knowing how something doesn't work is almost more important than a solid idea about how it does work.
Debate and consensus is the point of the UN. However, the US continues to use its veto in the UNSC to block resolutions related to Israel... Consequences are indeed needed, but I wouldn't be quick to blame the UN as such.
So killing civilians is deplorable? If you read with eyes unclouded, you'd see I haven't defended anything of the like. I'm equating this 'war' with terrorism. What Israel continues to commit daily is terrorism of the same kind as October 7th, on a scale so much more vast they're hard to compare.
Again, I really hope you can see how your logic works in reverse. In so far as all Palestinians are guilty, all Israelis are as well.
Propaganda can really cook a brain, eh?
From my perspective, we've got two rogue terrorist organizations murdering civilians en mass - one much more well funded and more effective at slaughter than the other.
You'd best be willing to extend that logic to all Israelis then, as the crimes of "settlers" and others Israeli civilians against Palestinians are very well documented.
But we're just starting with a conclusion here, aren't we?
