From what I've seen so far during my short time in Lemmy, there doesn't seem to be any fuss about mods (or lack thereof) being power hungry and that's good. And the people I've interacted with so far seemed to be helpful most of the time, whether I've got a gardening related question. You can't escape hostility anywhere so you just gotta have to eat those sometimes but we move on. I've also gotten the "Reddit cares" bot message because I seemed to have commented something about Stardew valley which wasn't even that bad, but I don't remember what I said but I know what I said wasn't bad to incur such a bot sent my way lol. Glad you (and I) found this place and hope to use this for years to come and hopefully no Lemmy gatekeepers tells us we can't be here 👋🏽
Same here to be honest, from what I'm experiencing now since I've joined is nothing but a mix of helpful and funny responses, mostly helpful and have yet to see mean response.
So for instance (no pun intended) there'll be different instances for each page (?), I follow like 5 different meme pages but they're from different instances, so I'm guessing you will and/or won't get the same memes as you would if you only followed one meme server? And I'm guessing it's better to have an additional account if you wished?
Sorry in advance if that's not the reply you're looking for, I'm still trying to work this Lemmy out and don't wanna feel like I'm missing out on different things I don't know about, I do appreciate your help 😊
So sorry about that, I was a bit busy with other things at the time enough not to interact and reply back. But then again that's no excuse on my end since I did make another post not shortly after.
There are similar answers to what the other commenters have said and I'm thankful for their help (and yours) and I will get to each of them if I can but I don't wanna sound like a broken record since I'm gonna have the same if not similar reply to each of them. Excuse me in advance for not having a better imagination 😊
Yeah I guess that makes the most sense, I just wanted to know what people's procedure/opinions for these things as I'm still starting out gardening as of a couple of months ago. Thank you.
We get around 3 cherry tomatoes ripening each day so there's that for some context lol, more ripening as we speak.
